A lot of dummycrats tore up their ballots when the 9th circuit "delayed" the election, thinking the election would not proceed. There only recourse now would be to cast a provisional ballot at their local polling place, and indicate they never received or lost their absentee ballot.
>>>One element that FoxNews was reporting this morning makes this election one of concern: Over 1 million mailed out absentee ballots have not been received back at the state office.

Look on the bright side, if Bustamante wins--there is no more baby stepping it. You guys are going straight into the eye of the storm!

You actually voted for Bustemonte.
Did you vote for Ross Perot Clinton, too.
What an idiot.

the turnouts that I saw observing polling places in Burbank looked pretty heavy....10-15 people per place...

We have been wondering if Davis will corrupt the tallies.
And how many minorities has he bussed to the polls.
How many lunches, how many packs of cigarettes will he dispense to said minorities?

FYI from Mickey Kaus -
Here's an inflammatory charge that could actually get someone fired at the L.A. Times, an event that happens approximately as often as a gubernatorial recall. L.A. Weekly's William Bradley claims that "senior Democratic strategists" were leaked the "particulars" of Thursday's Times groping story "well in advance of the story's publication." That would have given the anti-Arnold campaigns a head start in planning the TV ads and outraged public appearances they've since produced to capitalize on the groping scandal in the five days between the story's publication and the election. ...The leak occurred, according to Bradley, during a period when the details and timing of the piece were supposely known only to a few writers and editors. (The existence of some sort of LAT investigation, as well as its general subject, was known to, roughly, everyone in Western Hemisphere.) ... kausfiles Value Added: How far in advance is "well in advance"? The Weekly story isn't clear on this, so I asked Bradley, who said, "The Democrats had it at least a day in advance, perhaps longer." .... 10:38 P.M.

Leave it to the McClintock Kool-Aid Drinkers to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory for the GOP.
Morons -- that's why the Dems love 'em.

I still don't understand how 'No' voters also get to vote for Davis' replacement.
I think the 'No' voters are going to be the people to put BustaMecha in if it's a close race.
It's built in voter fraud...but I guess that's the way it's set up.

I agree with you. Sounds strange, but I do. =^) Over the last month or two I've been agreeing with you on every damn thing, not just Arnold. It is a little odd, but also a bit refreshing.

Your profile says Vermont. Either way your a presumptuous out of state know-it-all that claims to know what's best for the voters in a state he doesn't even live in I'm in VT. 1 1/2 yrs now. 47 in CO. Clear that up for you?
My post in no way claimed to know what is best for CA. It merely quoted Ahnold and asked the question "what will be the consequences of that?" Apparently the obvious answer produced an uncomfortable reaction.
As for cleaning up things in VT. We have a Republican Governor. He's also a conservative. Our economy is turning around and we have no gun control whatsoever. I bet Dean goes over big in CA though. ; )

If Bustamante beats Arnold and McClintock, it will be because more people voted for him (assuming no fraud). Schwarzenegger put forth a platform that didn't attract Republicans like myself to his candidacy. McClintock didn't attract you for whatever reason, and that's fine.
Guilt-tripping didn't work before the election, won't work after.
Look on the bright side... if Bustamante wins, it's because we recalled Davis, and that's the primary goal.
Sabertooth, this was so well spoken. It has been a LONG,hard campaign for California , and I am sure, like myself, many of us that live in this state are mentally and physically exhausted. I just know that I voted for Tom McClintock because I have to live with myself. If Arnold gets in, so beit. If Cruz gets in so beit,If Davis stays in, so beit. I have done my BEST.GOD BLESS AMERICA ~

I was thinking "Grow up!" would be the more appropriate response at this point.

The Iowa Market, the electronic stock exchange where you bet on an outcome is currently giving an 87% chance for a Davis recall.
The smart money knows how this will turn out.
