If Rush and Cline had to meet by Denny's, it was alleged by maid that Rush "didn't want Marta to find out."
I just don't buy it. Buying that would mean that Rush is whipped.
To: Yogafist; Terry Mross
IMO, if the maid took $100K from the National Enquirer, wouldn't that VOID ANY IMMUNITY DEAL with the prosecutors? It would seem so to me.
To: Pubbie
So far, this is like the game of Clue. I think that Colonel Mustard did it with a wrench in the library.

I think that Rush is being careful so that the MAID doesn't file an EEOC or wrongful termination suit against him. She could try to do that whether he has 25 employees or not. Certainly, his EIB network has more than 25 employees.
What's weird is that I read here that Rush paid the maid 80K plus 120K. That may just be another rumor.
To: freeparoundtheclock
Personally, I would be shocked if he
didn't know Boies -- I mean, you get to know all the other activists on the fundraising circuit. But I think conservatives should always be ultra-cautious and only state what can be proved, even if certain conclusions are logically obvious.
I am very, very curious how a poor maid ended up with a rich Dem bigshot as an attorney. Somebody from the DAs office steer her in that direction? Doesn't it seem more reasonable she'd end up with some public defender? Having a poor housekeeper end up with a wealthy, well-conected Dem attorney is really suspicious, in my opinion.

Question of the day: Did Maid Cline take it upon herself to wear a tape recorder and so on? If that's the case, was she afraid if she ever got caught, she'd use Rush as a Plan B for her criminal activities?
Or, who was she working for to set Rush up during her entire tenure at Rush's house? Maybe when she was hired, she was already a PLANT.
They showed Rush's house on Fox this a.m. Nice digs.

Roy Black's partners were mentioned in this morning's sptimes.com. Two other partners were speaking to the media on behalf of Rush. It's probably on their web site.

I was directed to post #308 re: Shohat. He's a big, sleaze S. Fla. democratic.

Do you have doctor's orders not to yawn or literally, you cannot yawn? Every time I see your posts about yawning, I start to yawn. I like to sing even though I have tmj. If I sing too much at home, I get dizzy and ringing in my ears. I stop singing and put the icepack in front of my ole ears. Yawning I can do.

I listen to Savage every night. I was flamed for mentioning Savage. I wasn't using him as a reference, just repeating what he was picking up on the news wires.
I've been flamed now pro and con for mentioning Savage at all. I believe what he says about the country being doomed if the democrats get back in power. I felt the same way before I found MS but he reinforces my opinion re: liberals. He has a talk show, I do not.

I think some profile pages look like ads for escort services. This is a new trend in FR profile pages. Are they real conservatives or disruptors? or selling something? lol

It would appear that your lack of compassion for Rush is matched only by your lack of football knowledge. Having acute football knowlegde happens to be part of my profession and I can tell you for fact that McNabb being "over-rated" has been common knowledge for some time now. MVP? And who decides who gets that? The media. That simply reinforces Rush's position that he is over-rated. He is the highest-paid QB in the game, but is far from being the best. He is an inaccurate passer who has a hard time reading defenses. He is a tremendous athlete who plays his best out of the pocket. Nobody is saying he is a terrible QB, just not quite what he was built up to be. Again, even some sports reporters are coming forward and confirming what Rush said. If you want to tell a sports reporter that you know why he wrote what he did more than he does, that would be rather presumptious. Then again, that seems to be your style. By any statistical measurement, McNabb is no MVP. Individual and team offensive numbers reflect that he is a good, not great QB. When he was injured last year, the sports media said it would be a disaster for the Eagles. They proclaimed that he meant more to his team than any other player meant to their team. The first game he was out, the Eagles were 7-point dogs at San Fran for a Monday Night Football game. Somehow, someway, the Eagles found a way to win without their one-man team, barely squeaking by San Fran. 38-17. It wasn't a fluke, as the team continued to win without him. Now then, if you have an argument to make that he isn't over-rated other than the media gave him an award, I'm open to hearing your opinion.

You need to check out post 683. Please note that Rush was on topic at ESPN. ESPN did a poll to their audience about the subject that Rush mentioned even BEFORE RUSH MENTIONED IT. Did you even watch the show?
If ESPN brought up race in their poll, then why doesn't the poll creator have to resign or get fired? Maybe because they were setting Rush up for abc? Who knows?
To: freeparoundtheclock
I literally cannot yawn. Haven't been able to for many years. It is a minor annoyance, truly. As I stated, I only experience mild discomfort.

I suspect ESPN (as a system and culture) was happy Rush resigned.
And Hollywood/NYC/Washington DC was rejoicing, of course.

I have been out of town for over a week. Didn't miss much did it?
Well, I understand that there is apparently some truth to the allegations against Rush.
Latest I heard is that he admits being addicted to OXY-C, taking them for pain from unsuccessful back surgery.
Seems that this has been going on for a while and the DEMS chose this time to bring it out, to discredit another public CONSERVATIVE figure.
Regardless, I am sending Jim a check for $50 in both your names, and in two weeks, I will send another $50.

We are at war. It is truly a war of good against evil. These are just the early scrimishes. I am glad I am not the only one that thinks that. I have been saying this for months.
Evil is way ahead in this game, also.

You seemed to believe Rush was addicted to pills, even though you stated you didn't see what the big deal being made was all about. I told you I didn't buy it, that it was all a SETUP. Turns out it is probably a little of both.
I said I would send $ to F.R. if I was wrong. I was wrong.
