Poohbah is on record as preferring Bustamante

Not surprising. He's a vehement enemy of our state's Proposition 187.

His pedantry and conceited attitude were indicative of untrustworthiness. I'm glad I kept low expectations regarding this individual, because I know I haven't been disappointed.

You have said it all here. Ditto!!!

If you think its so damn bad, why dont you move.

I'm moving to southern Oregon next year, but thanks for the friendly advice.

Don't worry, I won't let the revolving door to Mexico hit me in the backside.

Please, dear, do stop attempting to " teach " me history, according to your erronious lights. You neither know it well enough, nor do you understand it.

The USSR wasn't a " third world country " and that's just for starters! Please learn the deffinition of terms, prior to using them.

California is about as socialistic, as France lite.

No one, NO ONE has said that Communism ended with the Cold War, nor that Reagan eviserated it utterly. That little delusion exists solely in your own mind. Try to comprehend the written word and stop seeing that which is not posted.

The 2000 election was far from even the opening shots, of a Civil War. All that was, was Republicans finally taking the white gloves off. You haven't a clue...buy some. ;^)

Yes, adults can disagree. They should also be able to comprehend the written word, with far less difficulty than you've shown you have. This isn't politics 101, some high school history class, nor even a discussion with one's peers. For the most part, FR is a rough and tumble group of people, who are far and away more well informed, better read, and knowledgeable, than the rea;l world. That you sound as though you've just come into the light, so to speak, doesn't mean that I have. Calm down, think before posting, and don't assume that only YOU know what's what. LOL

California will NEVER " turn around ", unless its populace is dragged, kicking and screaming, into the right direction. That can and shall happen, with Arnold; however, he is only the camel's nose under the tent' a step in the right direction.

Should Cruz win, then more and more and more people, who make that state work at all, will leave. The majority of those who stay, will be crushed/continue to make it a disaster/demand more and more and more impossible perks.

Oh ... a retred are you ? And WHY were you banned ?

Have you been to Costco lately? Did you sign the petition?

I don't shop at Costco, which petition are you referring to? (if you mean the recall petition, yes, I signed it)

Tom has a bad case of "Buchannan's Eye". It starts with keen political vision, becomes political myopia and proceeds into total political blindness and eventual madness.

Roscoe, out of defference to our long history, I shall refrain from the " bait " offer. I suggest that you do the same.

Costco is looking into moving all of its stores out of California due to the incredibly high worker's compensation costs that started in July. They have fliers placed about every 10 feet in every store and a petition to amend the worker's compensation law. How long do you give them before they move?

The new law went into effect July 1 and is hammering businesses hard. I know some people want California to reach rock bottom, but how many jobs, lives, businesses must be destroyed in the process?

It was BAIT and you know it. We've fought too many battles, side by side, for me to fall for that and no, I'm NOT going to play that game...unless you keep cranking it out, for an extended period of time. Them, as you well know, I DO know how to fight back. Let's not do this...okay ?
