I also had suspicions that terrorists would plot a major attack in the US. Does this mean I had prior knowledge? Terrorists had already attacked the US in NYC before. It takes no great leap of intellect to suppose they would do so again. I'll let you in on a secret- they're going to strike again. Does this amount to fore knowledge? In a way it does- in the same sense that I can tell you that there will be an eclipse in the future. I can't tell you when but I have enough info on hand to divine that there will be another in the future. This doesn't amount to conspiracy. Other people have sufficient info to tell you exactly when an eclipse will take place but this also doesn't amount to a conspiracy. If we had had the correct amount of knowledge pre-9/11 we could accurately have predicted the day the attacks would happen. Alas, we did not have the correct amount of info to divine that fact. The amount of info we had was enough (like my own prediction of an eclipse) to say 'this will happen in the future- perhaps in the near future, we know not where or what or how though'. This is normal.

Why don't you elaborate on this dossier thing I asked you about earlier. I had never heard they had dossiers in hand before the event- ready to produce the second the towers came down. I find that a fascinating new angle on this whole thing and would like to know more.

I also never knew Florida was under martial law. Not being mean spirited- you have to understand, I don't live in the US and that probably escaped my attention quite easily. What was all this and what happened during this period of martial law?

EXECUTIVE ORDER NUMBER
01-261

WHEREAS, the Florida National Guard has the statutory responsibility to provide support to law-enforcement personnel and emergency-management personnel in the event of civil disturbances or natural disasters; and

WHEREAS, the Florida National Guard has the responsibility to provide training support to law-enforcement personnel and community-based organizations relating to counter drug operations; and

WHEREAS, the Florida National Guard must train to meet such responsibilities; and

WHEREAS, the Florida National Guard is funded for any such training by budgetary appropriation or grants before any such training; and

WHEREAS, the Florida National Guard must conduct such training in active service of the state, as defined by Section 250.27, Florida Statutes (also known as active military service and state active duty) for members of the Florida National Guard to be covered by Section 250.34, Florida Statutes; and

WHEREAS, as Governor, I may delegate the authority contained in Section 250.06(4), Florida Statutes, to order training to help respond to civil disturbances, natural disasters, and counter drug operations to The Adjutant General of the State of Florida; and

WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the State of Florida that I delegate such authority, so that the Florida National Guard is adequately trained to meet its obligation to help respond to civil disturbances, natural disasters, and counter drug operations and so that members of the Florida National Guard performing such training are covered by Section 250.34, Florida Statutes; and

WHEREAS, the Governor may order the Florida National Guard to provide extraordinary support to law enforcement upon request and such a request has been received from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) to assist FDLE in performing port security training and inspections.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JEB BUSH, as Governor of Florida, by virtue of the authority vested in me by Article IV, Section 1(a) of the Florida Constitution, and by Section 250.06(4), Florida Statutes, and all other applicable laws, do hereby promulgate the following Executive Order, to take immediate effect:

Section 1.

Based upon the foregoing, I hereby find that the public welfare requires that the Florida National Guard train to support law-enforcement personnel and emergency-management personnel in the event of civil disturbances or natural disasters and to provide training support to law-enforcement personnel and community-based organizations relating to counter drug operations.

Section 2.

I hereby delegate to The Adjutant General of the State of Florida all necessary authority, within approved budgetary appropriations or grants, to order members of the Florida National Guard into active service, as defined by Section 250.27, Florida Statutes, for the purpose of training to support law-enforcement personnel and emergency-management personnel in the event of civil disturbances or natural disasters and to provide training support to law-enforcement personnel and community-based organizations relating to counter drug operations.

Section 3.

The Florida National Guard may order selected members on to state active duty for service to the State of Florida pursuant to Section 250.06(4), Florida Statutes, to assist FDLE in performing port security training and inspections. Based on the potential massive damage to life and property that may result from an act of terrorism at a Florida port, the necessity to protect life and property from such acts of terrorism, and inhibiting the smuggling of illegal drugs into the State of Florida, the use of the Florida National Guard to support FDLE in accomplishing port security training and inspections is "extraordinary support to law enforcement" as used in Section 250.06(4), Florida Statutes.

Section 4.

The Adjutant General shall not place members of the Florida National Guard into active service for longer than necessary to accomplish the purposes declared herein.

Section 5.

This Executive Order supersedes Executive Order Number 01-17. Executive Order Number 01-17 is hereby revoked.

Section 6.

This Executive Order shall remain in full force and effect until the earlier of its revocation or June 30, 2003.

IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and have caused the Great Seal of the State of Florida to be affixed at Tallahassee, the Capitol, this 7th day of September 2001.

In addition, we have received unconfirmed information that terrorist actions may be taken against U.S. military facilities and/or establishments frequented by U.S. military personnel in Korea and Japan. We are also concerned about information we received in May 2001 that American citizens may be the target of a terrorist threat from extremist groups with links to Usama Bin Ladin's Al-Qaida organization. In the past, such individuals have not distinguished between official and civilian targets. As always, we take this information seriously. U.S. Government facilities worldwide remain at a heightened state of alert.

U.S. citizens are urged to maintain a high level of vigilance and to take appropriate steps to increase their security awareness to reduce their vulnerability. Americans should maintain a low profile, vary routes and times for all required travel, and treat mail and packages from unfamiliar sources with suspicion. In addition, American citizens are also urged to avoid contact with any suspicious, unfamiliar objects, and to report the presence of the objects to local authorities. Vehicles should not be left unattended, if at all possible, and should be kept locked at all times. U.S. Government personnel overseas have been advised to take the same precautions. In addition, U.S. Government facilities have and will continue to temporarily close or suspend public services as necessary to review their security posture and ensure its adequacy.

U.S. citizens planning to travel abroad should consult the Department of State's Public Announcements, Travel Warnings, Consular Information Sheets, and regional travel brochures, all of which are available at the Consular Affairs Internet web site at http://travel.state.gov. We will continue to provide updated information should it become available. American citizens overseas may contact the American Citizens Services unit of the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate by telephone or fax for up-to-date information on security conditions. and Washington have begun to smell worse than the rotting corpses still buried in the rubble. The stench of government

As various people go back to the audio and video of the days immediately after September 11, we are finding more and more
evidence that this whole incident is not what it seems.
Nowhere is this more evident than in remarks made by Tom Kennedy, a member of the Federal Emergency Management
Agency (FEMA) "National Urban Search and Rescue Team" during an interview on national TV with CBS News anchor
Dan Rather.
During the interview, Mr. Kennedy let slip a frightening truth. FEMA sent the Urban Search and Rescue Team to New
York City the night before the attacks occurred! Mr. Kennedy tells Dan Rather, "We're currently one of the first teams
that was deployed to support the City of New York in this disaster. We arrived on late Monday night
[Editors note: September 10] and went right into action on Tuesday morning" [Editors note: September 11]

Before you go digging in your archives, let me ask you the same question I asked another poster. Who or what entity would you trust to present you with a representation of the truth? Why would you trust that entity and by what objective means would you know that what was shown to you was the truth? The point being- 9/11 is no longer part of reality. It is in the past. Anything you could be shown, any documents, testimony, pictures, video- is merely a very poor copy of reality at this point (if it isn't a falsified reality). You would never even be able to prove to an absolute degree that any of the 'evidence' was factual or valid.

Do you see what I'm getting at here? There is no way to discover the reality of 9/11 now. Nothing with which you could be presented would have any more objective validity than that which you already have. How do you prove to your satisfaction that a document that surfaces today is the real thing versus a document that surfaced on 9/12/01?

If you already have it in your mind that 9/11 never happened, that it was a manufactured reality- this is reality for you and it will never change. Nothing I or anybody else could offer you will matter. There are no non-biased arbitrators out there we can trust. There are no fair investigators. If you didn't witness it y yourself, all modes of presenting you with reality are a leap of faith on your part. Take this for example:

Faces and Histories of so called Hijackers were plastered all over US TV within 24-48hrs .

You fail to see that if you had been one of those hijackers, they would have your face plastered everywhere in record time as well- particularly if they had your name to start with. How many places does your face appear when connected to official documents? There are thousands of ways that they can track you and your identity down in split seconds. Why should it strike you as unusual that they could produce pictures of the hijackers when the hijackers themselves had to provide those pictures to the gov't in the first place? Why should it seem unusual that the FBI can produce pictures when they have a list of known suspects to start with? That would be one of the simplest things in the world for them to do in normal times- when their entire agency is devoted to this, it is beneath serious discussion to wonder at how they can get their hands on photos.

In another post, you find conspiracy in the fact that the gov't warned people. I'm not sure I can sort that one out rationally. The gov't puts out a warning worldwide that something bad is about to happen and then when something bad happens it's a conspiracy? What do you make of hurricane and tornado warnings then if I might ask? The gov't does have its feelers out there you know. It would be odd if they hadn't gotten a whiff of some impending attack- that would be something to cover up. That they had some imperfect intelligence and warned the public on that proves nothing more than we have a generally decent gov't.

like the FBI and CIA were a combination of Sherlock Holmes and Bulldog Crummond on steriods...

Uhh... That's basically what they are and so would you be if you had their staff, budget and training.
