Why can't some of you separate the artist from the stupid person inside?

Don't confuse "can't" with "won't."

"Madman, bummers, drummers/ Indians in the summer/ with a teenage diplomat..."

"...my machine she's a dud/all stuck in the mud/somewhere in the swamps of Jersey..."

"The Rangers had a homecoming in Harlem late last night/the magic rat drove his sleek machine over the Jersey state line..."

"Well they blew up the Chicken Man in Philly last night/they blew up his house too..."

"Cadillac Cadillac, long and dark shiney and black..."

Words from AN ARTIST!

Me too! I saw Bruce in 1983 at the Long Island Coliseum. What a show! I can't believe it was 20 years ago.

Not for nothing..this was 65000 or so people at Giants Stadium. It was beyond awesome and we had the greatest company.

Usually we tow around 9 kids between us(mine are the oldest 11 and 7 and then they are all under 6 and a newbie of 6 months), this was the first time all 8 of us got together for 12 hours with NO KIDS....

Half of them are liberals and you know what it does not matter. Keep your friends near and dear. One of the men is a major liberal and he knows I am not and we just had fun.

Thats what its all about.

Queen inserted lines from the movie "Flash Gordon". As far as I know, that was the first time it was ever done.

I've seen Springsteen about 20 times. My first concert ever (16 y.o.) was "No Nukes" in 1979, with Bruce Springsteen and Jackson Browne among many others. He blew MSG away that night. The house lights were all on and 16,000 people were dancing on their chairs during the FIRST song!

He puts on an amazing show. And he is a liberal hump with a very limited political worldview. The two are not mutually exclusive. In fact, most great artistic performers are liberal humps. I guess it's just fashionable in those circles.

I remember this bit in a local (Far Lefty) City Paper:
"Hi, I'm Bruce,
I sing about vets, hot rods and jersey girls,
yet I dodged the draft, ride in a limo and married a model,
tee-hee!"
