"What a stupid statement since the century is only 2 years old." Thanks, I hadn't considered reading it that way. I thought a century was 100 years, any rolling 100 year period...such as, 1903 to 2003 is a century, no?

Sweden has had excellent yields this year.

1903 to 2003 is a century, no? If there was a deficit for each of the 100 years then someone, somewhere would be eating >100 year old grain.

"If there was a deficit for each of the 100 years then someone, somewhere would be eating >100 year old grain." I know. It does not make sense any way you slice it.

I know. It does not make sense any way you slice it. When the basic premise (Global Warming Hoax) is crap any arguments and data supporting that premise would tend to be crap as well.

Screw Europe and their shitty money!

"But excessive heat and low rainfall damage crops, and the heatwave - which brought temperatures of more than 100F to Britain for the first time, and gave France 11 consecutive days above 95F, killing more than 1,000 people - has done enormous damage."
Key clever liberal media way to distort a horrific numerical fact. 11,435 we're killed not 1,000. Of course if the writer and/or their editor were contacted about this discrepancy, they would simply say it was a typo - it was supposed to say 11,000 but somewhere along the publishing process someone, somehow omitted the extra one.
Death by a thousand cuts is the ultra-liberal media's goal -but we are on to them and have got the tool in the form of 101 keys.

Yes, and Britain under the aegis of the European Union, bought out all its fishermen, and shut down a huge percentage of its farming with the Common Agriculture Policy or CAP.
So the heat is killing the elderly in France, and soon Europe won't be able to feed itself. God help the citizens to throw out their socialist masters and bring some sanity and freedom to these people.

"God help the citizens to throw out their socialist masters and bring some sanity and freedom to these people." They're the ones who put them in, they seem just as screwed up.

Remember that the Europeans won't eat GM grain. Oh well! That's right. They would rather people starve than eat American GM strains of drought-resistant corn.
Europeans are such flakes.

Lester Brown, the president of Washington's authoritative Earth Policy InstituteWell, here's the culprit of the hysterical nature of this article right here. Lester Brown is a left wing 'sky is falling' nutcase. His inclusion in this article pretty much renders the whole thing valueless.
