"The Homosexual Agenda never sleeps. This is despicable."
Well, if you are going to call them despicable, which they certainly are, what word does one use to describe a Priest and parishoners (!?!?!?!) who march amongst them?
Hey, San Fran, your diocese is falling apart!

Excommunicated and publicly so if the Diocese of San Francisco had any backbone. Maybe someday, San Francisco will have a CATHOLIC bishop for a change.

BlackElk, FYI, your beloved Hispanics vote overwhelmingly for Dems. It's something like 90% or 95% in this state. Why are you upset? Isn't this what you want?

I asked Healy, "can there be any justification for a Catholic priest and his parish to participate in a blatantly pornographic public display....they will try to justify their actions, but, they will PAY FOR THIS SINFUL DISPLAY ON JUDGEMENT DAY!!!!!

Damn.
There's just so much wrong with that event!
Let me say up front that I'm a big on freedom type. Things done between two consenting adults are really none of my business. Want to be gay? Want to engage in sodomy? Fine. It's up to you - and you'll be seeing the Chief Justice of the Divine Court in the next life.
My acceptance of two consenting adults engaging in homosexual sex hinges on them doing it in private, though. That said, my acceptance of two heterosexual adults engaging in sex hinges on them doing it in private, too.
I love my wife and our love includes privatetimes behind a locked door in our bedroom. You will not see us -- and I'd be intolerant of seeing others -- parading around downtown San Antonio yelling "I REALLY LOVE HAVING SEX WITH MY WIFE/HUSBAND."
That kind of behavior is just wrong. People who do that are doing nothing more than making a fool of themselves.
On another note, most groups and organizations have rules.
I work in the pharma industry. We require that people wear hairnets, gloves - you know, the whole getup to keep our pharma products clean and pure. We would not tolerate a person who claimed that it was his or her right, need or biological mandate to run around shirtless on a pharma packaging line.
Compliance with those rules is a condition of employment.
Some people don't like the rules -- but the rules are the rules and you've no choice but to follow them if your career is in the pharma industry.
The same standard applies to priests - be they Catholic or Anglican.
The Bible has stated that homosexual contact is Against The Rules. A priest who is (a)gay or (b) supportive of the gay lifestyle is breaking The Rules and violating a condition of his employement.
Liberal Lurkers: It is possible to support a person without supporting his or her activities -- ask any parent of two-year-olds.

It's partly because they see no difference except that the Dems offer them welfare and public healthcare.
Our path to the hispanics is showing a difference between us and the Dems on the moral issues they care about: marriage and abortion. We need more conservative nominees that hispanics can look to and we need a consistent message. The RINOs offer nothing for hispanics and they muddle our message of moral responsibility.
If we were to drop our prolife platform as the RINOs would have us, and accept the perverse sexual agenda of those with the homo mental illness then you can kiss our future in California goodbye.
78% of hispanics voted for Prop 22 compared to 62% of the electorate. Liberal Republican Wilson received 11% of the hispanic vote after prior GOP governors had been getting their support in the 30s.
Californias GOP problems can be directly attributed to the liberal Republican RINO policies.

can there be any justification for a Catholic priest and his parish to participate in a blatantly pornographic public display? It's the in thing to do. The pope doesn't mind as long as it isn't that girl who tore his picture up on stage.

I would say it is clearly time to get out of the Catholic church.
To: I_Love_My_Husband
There is an easy and profitable solution to this activity.
This type of demon must be removed from positions of power
in the church at all cost. Identify, contact, and expose them as sexual predators, wolves in sheeps' clothing. If need be, bear false witness, since this sin is forgiveable with penance. Keep in mind, always, the innocent and feeble minded that will be protected from perversion by your actions. Be comfortable in the knowledge that you will simply be using the same tactics which the homosexuals have used for so long now to bleed the church of cash in exchange for silence, only to expose it all at once to discredit the church. Though now the church can not afford the silence and will be forced to send these demons into exile where they belong.

If need be, bear false witness, since this sin is forgiveable with penance. This comment really can't be allowed to stand unchallenged.
In the first place, committing a sin is no way to clean up the Church. In the second place, it's politically stupid to even raise such an idea, let alone do it. It would completely discredit the cause you advocate. In the third place, God will not be mocked. Committing a sin with the prior intention of confessing it later is a very serious abuse of God's grace and mercy. The Bible never defines the "sin against the Holy Spirit," which is unforgiveable, but this kind of thing certainly verges on such an act.
Yes, if you genuinely repent, any sin can be forgiven. But who can say that you will be able to genuinely repent such a premeditated sin?
Finally, such lies are hardly needful. The priest in question has been caught participating in the middle of a disgusting performance. The bishop needs to be pressed hard to discipline him.
