Might I suggest a dual pronged approach of e-mailing but also calling and faxing not only Jeb but also Charlie Crist? the President and John Ashcroft? etc. anybody feel free to add:
A criminal investigation needs to be conducted by John Ashcroft.
Please demand of President Bush to initiate an investigation so
that Mr. Ashcroft can get involved:
President George W. Bush

Although you'll get an automated response, here
are the e-mails for GW and Cheney:
President George W. Bush:
president@whitehouse.gov Vice President Richard Cheney:
vice.president@whitehouse.gov Note: Since there is only one FAX number so far known to our
campaign, it's likely we will easily jam it during the peak
time. So if you cannot get through this FAX line, an
alternative way to send our message to the President is
EXPRESS MAIL - the fast delivery service.
There are 4 major express mail systems in the U.S.:
1. Federal Express (
http://www.fedex.com/), a
private company offering worldwide express mail
service. Its phone numbers and "drop off
locations" are listed in the white page of most
local phone book under the entry of "FEDERAL
EXPRESS" (see above URL first). It can also
pick up your outgoing mail at your door by
calling the service.
2. UPS (
http://www.ups.com/) also offers next day
service and also next day early a.m. delivery
(as does Fed Ex). You can go to any Mailboxes,
Etc. store which are now named The UPS Store
(
http://www.theupsstore.com/). 3. DHL express mail company, also a worldwide
service. But I can't find its info from my
local phone book.
4. Regular U.S. post offices also provide express
mail service - next day delivery. You can bring
your mail to your local post office or call for
a pickup at your door for $4 per pickup.
Letters submitted as express mail are
guaranteed to reach the destination the next
day.
Generally speaking Federal Express' service is better than the Post
Office, of course, at a little higher price.
United States Attorney General John Ashcroft:

Fax:202/514-1009
U.S. Senate:

to be initiated by Jeb Bush:
(

While more action should be taken besides the on-line petition to
Florida Governor Jeb Bush please do use this as one means of
acting:

I have a fax number for Rush, if it's still valid ... used it quite a lot during the 2000 campaign and in 2001. 212 563 9166
You might want to address a fax to Orrin Hatch regarding the judicial problems since he's the Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee. I don't know who's chairing the House Committee now, it was Henry Hyde. 202 225 1166

Appreciate your wording..stay of execution. That is exactly the words that need to be used over and over. This is not removing a tube, it is execution of the innocent. Only someone so far removed from God could even contemplate this. The Bible so accurately says, without natural affection.

This is Terri's life they are talking aboutExtremely sick, you are correct. To run a poll about the life of someone is to become a bottom-feeder of the worst kind. The evil one is alive and in action.
Scripture suggests fasting and prayer.

Poll is now 67% to 32%, in favor of removing feeding tube.
better than 76%-22%
Must be some FR people voting now!
This kind of internet poll is totally UNRELIABLE, as it allows a person to vote multiple times (with at least an hour between votes). It's a DISGRACE for Tampa Bay Online to put this poll on their home page, and does more damage, because of the public perception that it creates.
AND, it's not a random sample. Who knows, some pro-death groups could have been working all afternoon voting on this poll!
THIS IS A BOGUS POLL!! They should REMOVE it IMMEDIATELY from their site.
I think I'll write them about it.

Probably, but I don't know how it's done. Perhaps someone else can help with that.

I wouldn't vote in their sick poll, but I did send an email to the general manager with my feelings about it.

Greer is an elected judge, but we've found that ofentimes he ran unopposed. I'm not sure if that was the case the last time or not. He is up for re-election in 2004.

Hello Ragtime - sorry to say I've not read ANY info, like I usually try to do, before I talk.
I'm just very dismayed this is now apparently left up to polls via the internet for life or death, apparently. I've not read of this case before now and it sounds pathetic that it's a poll 'vote.'
God help us all. We live in very strange times.
PS, personally, I don't believe in polls via the internet; way too much tainting available. But, then again, I don't believe in any kind of random poll.
Let's all pray this woman gets her to where her Maker wants her to be.

As a wat to bump this thread, re your tagline: Hospice 'Care' doesn't have much to do with medicine of late, just death watches and, apparently in Florida, summary executions of disabled but sentient people.
