I looked at it with my 4.5" reflector the other night. So far I haven't died.

I wasn't worried about this at all--in fact, I was kind of enjoying the bright light from Mars--until all these experts started saying, "Don't worry, nothing will happen when Mars makes it closest approach in 60,000 years. Nothing at all. You're completely safe, Mars is harmless."

Now I'm thinking, hmmmmm....;-D

"The Earth abideth forever" Its only evil's grip on this planet that is going to end. So folks, when you hear that the "end is near", the only proper reaction should be a huge smile on your face, unless you take glee in sickness, disease, sin, and death. Then you better take a hard look at yourself, and the thoughts and intents of your heart.

Now where is the Oort cloud again? Relative to us and Mars? Isn't it just a few miles out from the sun?

And I suppose you think the Martians had nothing to do with the power failure, huh?
