i hope they decide to cut the gay sex scene with Travis and and the young mexican boys. i don't think it will play well in Texas, but i fear they may leave it in for the New York release.

direct quote from Bowie's salve Joe:
Crockett and a few of his friends were found together, with twenty-four of the enemy dead around them.

direct quote from Susanna Dickerson:
"I recognized Col. Crockett lying dead and mutilated between the church and the two story barrack building, and even remember seeing his peculiar cap lying by his side.
but will the movie maker be afraid to show his coonskin cap?

Some people I know who saw Open Range over the weekend said the audience actually applauded at the end. That's unheard of, at least to me. I, for one, can't wait to see it.
As far as Costner is concerned, heck, I'll admit I like him and his flicks. I even liked Waterworld (I'm ducking now). The Postman was great! However, I have doubts he's a serious conservative...aftrer all I read last week right here on FReep that he considers himself a "citizen of the world". That's hardly a conservative belief.
