Shandon, this old Marine had big, Marine tears in his eyes.
I think all of us old, tough, grouchy military men have a core of soft butter when it comes to little ones like that.

Thank you so much for the ping and the pictures. I hope BG's computer gets well soon.
What a beautiful baby, and how blessed we are all to be included in his life.

Prayers sent for the family of the triplet. I know that sweet child was welcomed into the arms of Jesus instantly. I hope the parents are people of faith, because they will need the strength that comes only from God.
I have twin sons who were born into everlasting life just over two years ago. I ache for them still, but I trust in God's perfect plan. Worrying about and praying for Logan, Sara and Ryan brings up so many difficult feelings.
I have pleaded with God to let Logan's parents raise him.
To: A-teamMom
My youngest son was born with a birth defect, and I saw many babies who didn't make it while he was in Texas Children's Hospital.
I believe in God's perfect plan, too, and that's what makes it so especially sweet when He gives a baby like Logan the strength to survive.
To: TexasCowboy
Amen to that.
To: TexasCowboy
Thanks for the update and the pics! He is looking more like a baby and less like a pin cushion! Less tubes and machines...always a great sign. God Bless him!

Shandon, this old Marine had big, Marine tears in his eyes. I think all of us old, tough, grouchy military men have a core of soft butter when it comes to little ones like that. They're all a bunch of wimps really when it comes to babies!!!
I will never in my life forget the look on my husband's face when the nurses handed him his son...
Makes me all weepy just to think about it!
Big Tough Devil Dogs! Right!
They go from OOH RAH to GA GA in a split second!
Semper Fi to you TexasCowboy!
Thanks for ALL THE PICTURES!
Drive safely and give our Termite a big ol kiss from us (with no germs of course)!
Nana and Family~ We are prayin ya ALL THE WAY HOME! (as my grandma used to tell all of us kids)

WE'RE PRAYING EVERYDAY! As a matter of fact, I would bet that someone, somewhere is praying for you every SECOND OF EVERY MINUTE OF EVERY DAY!!!!

Logan tonight (Tues.)
BG here! Well, it looks like my buddy TexasCowboy and the Termite have become GREAT buds! LOL!!! What an HONOR for them both...I'm MORE than delighted...!!! This is a short update from Logan's Nana. I'm SURE after TC visits Logan tomorrow there's going to be more gloating glorious stories to tell. TC, THANK YOU for becoming a part of a wonderful family!!! The update....
Logan's Mommy just called..... the wee one is doing good :) He is now drinking 1 oz of milk at each feeding!! For a little fella, that's pretty good. 2 more weeks and they will see if he can handle milk from a bottle. That's going to be a milestone, although at the same time, they will move the feeding tube to his nose. Hate that.... wonder how he will handle the canula and the feeding tube both in his nose.??
Nite and hugs to you all.....

(Have YOU had your Logan Fix today?)
To: Brad's Gramma
Has Mom nursed him yet? If he's showing any signs of sucking, she should definitely put him to breast, even if he just tries to suck, it's good for her supply; and it's important for him to experience the breast before he sucks from the bottle.
I'm happy he's doing so well.
To: Brad's Gramma
Praise God!!! Thank you so much for the update! Prayers continue...
To: DLfromthedesert
My baby was in NICU for 12 days, and was given the bottle first. However, when it came time to nurse, he had no trouble at all.

"Ask that Marine, Texas Cowboy, to sing Anchors Aweigh!" Now you're trying to teach the little guy the wrong music!
LOL!
He already sings the Marine Corps Hymn! Nobody can hear it but me and him.
Thank you, brother!
Have a good night!
To: TexasCowboy
