At that ever happened, then I'd use the words "great team" instead of "pretty damn good". Good teams do well in the playoffs, great teams win championships.

At that ever happened, then I'd use the words "great team" instead of "pretty damn good". Good teams do well in the playoffs, great teams win championships. The playoffs were settled by the injuries - In the case of the Mavs, their best player was taken out, inadvertantly.

You're right, but besides the Mavs, the Kings were also severely hampered by a key injury.
Who knows though, Duncan really is remarkable.
