Noticed that El Chopperola landed next to a baseball field and that there was NO ONE anywhere near the LZ. Was there some special significance to landing on a baseball layout or was that simply the only flat space available?

"Why has she been made out to be such a Jesus figure. Why does she get all of the attention? What about the frumpy black POW who was freed?"

PFC Lynch has unwittingly become a symbol of the success of Feminism in America, and therefor must be treated as a hero.

It is reported on another thread that Susan Estrogen is saying that the possible killing of the Saddam sons on the same day that Private Lynch comes home is "just too convenient".

It's a dastardly conspiracy I tell you!

I am sure she would feel better to hear you call her frumpy. In reality, I would not 'wish' media focus on anyone. It is indeed a curse.

Why Jessica, Why Laci Peterson? Why JonBenet Ramsy? The media picks a few things to cover.... the decisions are not always 'fair'. Nor is it a blessing to those thrust into the spotlight.

Jessica's story is a good one, her rescue was good news right at the moment we really needed good news. She slipped into our lives and I for one remain interested and hopeful for her recovery.

Did my calling the black POW woman "frumpy" hurt your sensibilities? My point was that she was not sexy enough to get the same coverage as Jessica.

Give me a break.... she is a symbol of America's success in Iraq and is a hero. Of all places a soldier and American should feel welcome should she seek out news of herself on the internet.... I would be dreadfully embarrassed if she came here.

Many here are proud and hopeful for her. I hope she knows that!

She looks great. On now.
