This is why they are running scared. The trojan horse of evolution is about to fall and they will try any tactic they can to keep it going. It is so funny when they refer to us a religionists and yet defend theirs so loudly.

Their philosophy and theology is just like their science ... rote rantings they learn from grunting to each other --- blather !

Dr. Hovind If anybody can do it, Hovind can. He is good, very good. Almost good enough.

You will hardly and one among the profounder sort of scientific minds without a peculiar religious feeling of his own. But it is different from the religion of the naive man. For the latter God is a being from whose care one hopes to benefit and whose punishment one fears; a sublimation of a feeling similar to that of a child for its father, a being to whom one stands to some extent in a personal relation, however deeply it may be tinged with awe.
Religion and Science, by Albert Einstein.

person's view of science, as everything else in life, is governed by that person's presuppositions. Say hypotheses and we are almost together. A person working without hypothesis is an empiricist in the older sense.

HalfFull tried to hide behind Einstein as a fellow believer in Christ (and presumbably "the evil one", the HalfFull usage I had just previously noted as showing an unscientifically oriented mind). Your post excuses him by missing the target completely.bunk...i hide behind nothing. You, on the other hand, hide behind insults, half-truths, and ridicule the religious beliefs of others. At least I know enough about true science that I don't confuse science with religion, like those of you in the Church of Evolution.
To: VadeRetro
Maybe you'd like to argue with Dr. Gary Parker, leading biologist-creationist.

And you are beter??????:) I would not dream of trying to prove classical Creationism, or Evolutionism. I don't think these theories or hypotheses are susceptible of proof. They are methods, management styles. They can only be tried to see if the businesses are run better, if the Philosophy Dept can attract more grants.

Amen. And they saw the works of Jesus first-hand. If they made it, then folks who haven't seen the works and doubt will make it.

Oh THANK YOU FOR YOUR HONESTY. So, if evolution cannot b e proven, then it is only a theory, and all theories should be included in a textbook, or none at all. :)

Touhgt to self. All theories without proof take faith to believe, so why is the secular humanist faith of evolution the only exception. Humanism is a religion as much so as any. Why is my tax dollars supporting this religion? Things to ponder.

Say hypotheses and we are almost together. A person working without hypothesis is an empiricist in the older sense. I stand by my statement as given. Hypotheses or theories are both subject to underlying subjective presuppositions. Phlogiston was a theory at one time and so was geocentrism. However, we now know that both have been debunked. Scientific knowledge changes daily -it's in constant flux, and one of the reasons for this is the subjective nature of the interpretation of reality and evidence. Neodarwinism is more of a religion than a theory. It is predicated upon the philosophies of naturalism, materialism and empricism, none of which are true philosophies. False philosophies lead to false conclusions. It is the ONLY scientific theory I have ever heard of that is politically and legally forced down Americans' throats. Why is that do you suppose?

You would be surprised. :)

If I may interject :)
That is the fly in the ointment. Evolution cannot be proven and they know it, so it really should stay in the faith department.
