Not at all, Sabertooth. It can certainly be added if it is still an item you think GWB needs to NOT persue. I was not aware that item was still being sought. You think it is?

But I don't understand your 'self congratulations' comment. Did I miss something?

Regarding CFR; I dont deride Bush for signing it. It arrived on his desk at a bad time, he didnt feel like dealing with it, so he signed it knowing SCOTUS would strike it down. Or just the most offensive parts of it, anyway.

Ah yes. The very same bunch of nine rogues who should be impeached (or at least we should pass an amendment to "put them in their place") can be counted on to bail the White House out on CFR.

Hmmm.

His "mouthpiece" is already here, telling us that Rush believes Bush is a socialist; I wonder who Rush is going to vote for next time?

Oh, I read your list. The problem is most of the items that were repeated from your list were in the "still to be addressed section". That section is mostly the exact opposite of the President's stated goals. If he were to actually follow your list, he might find a conservative support easier to get. The problem is, it ain't gonna happen.

What did the Cheese Eating Surrender Monkeys do that killed Kyoto?

HAHAHAHAHA!

You have such a way with words.

The CESM's participated in a conference that was supposed to forge a compromise on global warming. The "bad" industrialized nations (read America) wanted to be able to buy clean air credits from non-industrialized nations. This would have had the effect of spreading money around the globe while still lessening the overall economic impact on the bad guys. In turn, this might have created a treaty that the US Senate could actually sign.

Enter the CESM's. They refused the deal demanding that the US and other nasty polluters be economically punished to the greatest extent possible. The deal was killed and so was the Treaty, since it was meaningless without US participation. This is probably an over-simplification, but that the jist of it.

So will everyone if Bush gets his act together, if not he is toast!

Rush just said,,,,he doesn't care if the democrats are elected and it would be better because then the conservatives would hold them to account unlike Bush and his liberal democrat agenda.

I wonder who Rush is going to vote for next time?

Rush will vote for the Republican nominee - George W. Bush.

In the meantime, he'll do what he needs to do to keep his ratings up. ;-)

Big kudos, justshe. This is an excellent idea.

It's a great way to stimulate discussion.

Of course it will also allow some folks' "true colors" to be highlighted.

Thank you.

If your words on what Rush said were accurate, he has lost his mind. Perhaps he needs a break from the radio.

Colin just needs to clean house - he has staff there who are undermining his position.

This is my point. Sure he should do this but that's the trap that the sheeple fall into. He could do this in an instant. Why doesn't he? It's the "Potomac two-step". Say one thing - do another & keep this corrupt government in the hands of the elites at the expense of us taxpayers.

Would you like me to add the following:

"Stop using the Constitution as a doormat" and "Don't give tax cuts to people who pay no taxes"?

I think your "robbing the rest of us to expand government socialism" might be covered in these items already on the Items still to be accomplished and/or addressed list under the :

Limit/eliminate federal entitlement programs

Cut size of federal budget

Let me know.....thanks.

Just 25 or 27 years ago, the top marginal tax rate in your (I am Canadian) nation was 91%. Many more people paid 70%. Taxes were not indexed to inflation until the mid-1980s; bracket creep was endemic. Now the top marginal rate is under 40%—and will likely be cut further soon—and today taxes are indexed for inflation. Capital gains taxes are lower, too—dropped to 20% in 1996. A whole new round of tax-cutting will be kicking in over the next 7 years. Social Security privatization—also a form of major detaxation—is about to pop up over the political horizon. This, once it gets rolling later in the decade, will be a deregulatory/detaxation move to dwarf most others. It's a much bigger deal than many yet realize. President Bush realizes it, and is relentless in his push for it.

Digger, have you no understanding of the Civil Service laws? Powell cannot simply fire career employees. Donald Rumsfeld is arguing for getting rid of these laws in the Pentagon, and he is receiving stiff opposition from the unions and the democrats. It will take a law passed by Congress to revamp the Pentagon's employees. The same would be the case for State.

Kinda also makes you go "HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM".
