Ann Coulter is sharp as a tack! Wonder what made her suspicious enough to google or lexus-nexus this guy?

Because the dems have a habit of planting false "ordinary citizens" when they are planning an event. Remember the 2000 Florida election protests in West Palm, when 'ordinary voters' who claimed to have problems reading the ballots (and were interviewed as such by the major TV media) turned out, with a little detective work, to be veteran lifelong democratic activists?

Here on FR, for example, I spotted a story where a "man on the street" type was quoted as saying that he was selling his stock in some company (I've since forgotten) in protest of some action taken by a republican. Well, I recognized the name, did a little research, and found out (and posted the results here) that the guy was a major republican activist and was the same person who helped Clinton silence one of his bimbo conquests who was threatening to go public, by offering her a Hollywood acting job.

So, there's a pattern here, and Ann is on to it.

He's in Huntington, NY (Long Island) but he doesn't show up in Yahoo white pages anyway.

Try looking under "Ma and Pa Packer".

Just a hunch. :D

You've made my day, Howlin. Thanks for the ping.

It's amazing to watch this once fine enterprise turned into a steaming heap of stinking dung. Excuse me while I cross the street to avoid their mess.

this guy reminds me of Rupert Pupkin in the 'King of Comedy'

This actually would make a terrific movie. Call it "Mr. Everywhere" or something.

Of course Hollywood will probably screw it up by casting Adam Sandler or Jim Carey, but the potential for greatness is there...

That's odd. He's pingable, but I don't see any posts or homepage.

It's a mystery...

I prefer to think it's just a lurker who was prevented from stepping out into the warm sunshine of FR by the lack of a winning screen name.

It amounts to dishonest manipulation of public opinion

Yes it does. Wonder if this is a tradition at the New York Times. Could we find a new "Greg Packer" character every decade or two?

Did a "Gregory Packhardt" comment to the New York Times on flagpole sitters, speakeasys and Charles Lindbergh's flight in the 1920s?

Was there a Greg Packart at the Hindenburg crash, Pearl Harbor and D-Day?

Did the Times print quotes from a Gregory Pack on the assassination of JFK, the Beatles arrival in America and the 1964 New York World's fair?

If only the Times morgue were on CD. What fun that would be to search.
