I agree that Weiner feels betrayed by Jewish Liberals. Do you suppose that is why he changed his name to "Savage" and deletes any mention that he is an immigrant of Russian Jewish parents?

Savage is the most insecure person I've ever heard on the radio. Maybe that's what makes him so funny. It's like listening to the wizard of oz behind the curtain.

Maybe Weiner's insecurity explains why he relishes belittling just about everyone. Weiner may have an inferiority complex given his diminutive size. Then there is that tooth of his. Seems kinda ironic that he would mock the way other people look.

Why are you so concerned about him talking about his roots? I have heard him mention that sort of thing before, if he talked about it too often, he'd lose listeners. Does Rush talk about Cape Girardeau, Missouri all the time? No. Only on occasion.

Well, it's just not a good radio name. The funniest radio name switch I ever heard was a friend in college. His last real last name was Wheeler, and he changed it to the more ungainly Mendelson for his show! It was kind of funny. OK, now I'm really going (Giants game!)

I agree, but have you never heard a caller ask Weiner if he is Jewish only to be shouted down as a Nazi?

Here is an example you may recall when Weiner mocked Lieberman by playing Klezmer (Jewish) music in the background as Lieberman's made his presidential announcement or as Weiner referred to it "he threw his bagel into the ring."

WEINER: Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jim, you are on the Savage Nation. What's your complaint? You are offended by the music? How so?

JIM: Why would you bring up that he is Jewish? I mean, you're Jewish, so why--

WEINER: But Jim I brought it up because he did.

JIM: Why don"t you start your show like that?

WEINER: Why don't you start the show with that, Jim? Why don't you play Nazi music every time you call me? Shall we play the "Horst Vessel" every time you call?

WEINER: Do you know the "Horst Vessel" song, Jim? Do you know it by heart yet? Shall I whistle it for you? You probably know it by now, don't you? Because we know that you are a stone-hearted Nazi stormtrooper would be, but you were probably castrated by your mother when you were born so you can't even put on a decent uniform these days without having something- you know what I am saying? We can play the "Horst Vessel" song for you Jim if you like.

JIM: What kind of logic---

WEINER: Thank you for the call. Play the music again. Play the Klezmer music for Jim since he is a stone-hearted Nazi. Let's play the music to make him really crazy...

What did Jim do to deserve being attacked as a Nazi? He simply pointed out that Weiner is Jewish and that if he liked Klezmer music so much, why doesn't he open his show with it instead of playing it to mock Leiberman's Judaism.

I've noticed Savage going whacko with callers like that. A couple of weeks ago he took a call and a few words into it he said he had a headache and he hung up on the caller. There's a nice little funny farm a few miles away from you, Mike Savage.

Please explain Weiner's calling a caller a "Nazi" for simply remarking that Weiner is a Jew. Do you deny your faith? Are you offended if someone asks you what religion you practice?

Weiner does not want his largely Christian audience to know that he is Jewish. That is why he doctors the articles when he reads them over the air.

His audience knows it, and I don't think they care. I saw the Hannity & colmes appearance and have it on tape, he said what he said. You are dwelling on this for some unknown reason. Why not discuss the topics of this show? that's what the thread is for, not to question this guy for whatever mission you're on.

Fello the only thing I can tell you is Mike is like alot people, He is real , he gets to the heart, and he doesnt drive away in a limo at the end of the day, but to me he is just an average guy like many of us, He likes beer, he drives a classic, and few classics at that, He likes to eat, He use to eat food that would have killed him , I mean he's a real guy living in a real world, I like that he shares his life with us a bit now and then, ANd I agree outright with his Boarders Language and culture. So thats all I can tell you .

I'd be delighted to talk about the topics, but just now we are talking about why Weiner calls a caller a "Nazi" who ask whether he is a Jew? Can you explain that? Or would you prefer to ignore it?
