What firmed it up for me was Jackie saying "our house". That was a big slip in the wrong direction.

I don't think it's going to be anyone's house for much longer, much less the Petersons. I really don't think the Rochas care about getting possession of the house. Many people have argued here about who would get it. Better question is who really wants it.

Jackie probably let the NE on the property to get the pics. Somehow it sounds just like her.

If he was paid back membership fees at the tune of $25,000 and only $10 was found on him at the time of arrest plus what he paid for the car. It is possible he has mommy using what is left for mortgage payments.

I cannot imagine the greed of Jackie and son that they would let the house be foreclosed on.

Plus we do not know how much money they made selling the Cafe they sold before moving back to Modesto.

Has to have cash from somewhere stashed to spend it the way he was and on secret affairs to boot.

She was only a sub. teacher so there could not have been any benifits from that job.

You're quite right, of course, Tapu, with respect as to whether these were "satanic killings" or not. It is a side issue and fodder for the media and discussion on threads like these, much like Friday's fiasco over who has legal or should have legal rights to Laci's things. I'm disappointed that a death certificate wasn't issued when it could have been issued, so that the latter issue couldn't have been already been settled.

Jackie must of allowed NE to have access. She had the cops show up because the alarm co. called her to let her know the alarm was going off and she chose to alert MPD.

I had one of thos alarm deals years ago and after teaching the family dog to open doors which he took upon himself to do since. I had to deal with the co. calling me and me calling false alarm and where we live if the Sherriff Dept. does respond after the first time and it is false any calls they respond to after that is a fine.

She obvioulsy had the code which can be changed at anytime so Laci's family was left out of the loop on having the code. IMO another strike against Jackie/Scaught not sharing the code is basically saying stay out to Laci's family.

I think the Death Certificate is under seal with the autopsy. The CC Health Dept. says they can't discuss it. They are the ones who will forward it to the county recorder.

Thanks very much, RG! My, my! I do hope someone in LE explained to the Rochas, especially after their complete cooperation and support of LE and their efforts in the investigation, why they had to seal the death certificate. It certainly complicated the lives of the Rochas with respect to their rights to "Laci's things". JMO, of course.

you have your facts all twisted. IMO, what sent Sharon over there friday morning was Jackie Peterson on Greta, thursday night, saying THERE WAS NOTHING OF LACI LEFT THERE! and that there was no "problem", she didn't know where this problem was coming from, was a media thing. and that she had email from sharon and was going to leave the plants outside for sharon to pick up. i heard jackie myself live when she called in at the end of the show.
The petersons must really hate the rochas to be so mean to them, as to not let the rochas go over and look around, let them have some of Laci's stuff without having to hire a lawyer for goodness sake....hired the lawyers 2 1/2 months ago. Sharon is a saint. i'd have been there long ago.

Great find Howlin. I had not seen this article it really clarifies the sequence of events.

I guess things that have effected our own lives,colors our perception of outside events.A few years ago when my mother was released from the hospital with heart failure,she went home with my sister and separated from my stepfather. A few days later, Mom, my sister and I drove over to their house to pick up some clothes and my stepfather had changed all the locks and alarm system code. I think it was such a shock to my mom that he would not allow her in her own home to get clothes and personal items,it even further deteriorated her health. So I guess I see the Peterson's doing the same type of "mind and power trip" with Sharon Rocha, and that is why I can understand why she would feel goaded into just going into the Laci and Scott's house and retreiving Laci and Connor's things. In a small way, I guess,I feel like I have a walked a mile in Sharon's shoes.

I agree, Sharon Rocha has had the patience of saint along with the rest of her family. She went waaaaay past the second mile to work within the law. IMO, she was pushed over the line by the Bitch of the Decade. Jackie Peterson is a self serving, coldhearted, manipulating b-tch!! It's about time the Rocha's showed that they were NOT going to take this anymore.

This thread is way too long to read all. Has anyone brought up the wedding ring? I heard on FOX today that Laci's Mother found her wedding ring and took it. The story was that Scott had taken the ring and some other stones to have them made into a new ring before Laci's death. Now that is a red flag to me, indicating premeditation. He knew he was going to kill her, but he didn't want to lose the waluable ring. When did he take it to the jeweler? That would be interesting to know.
