The fact that the life expectancy of an African-American male is now 68 years of age, and the life expectancy of a white male is 75 years of age, says to me that there is not much liberty in African Americans subsidizing the Social Security system."

Geez, I never thought of it in this way before. Valid point. One could make the same argument regarding men vs. women.

Hey, after a few years in the Senate, maybe he'd be a setup for Condaleeza Rice's running mate!

"Lincoln Diaz-Balart would make a better Senator than his brother Mario."

Oh, no ! Lincoln is a political schizophrenic and a bit of an opportunist. He was a 'Rat throughout most of the '80s. I defitinely would've supported his '92 opponent when the FL legislature created the 2nd Hispanic seat, State Sen. Javier Suoto. His brother, Mario, I support 100%, a solid and vocal Conservative. He carried the water for Dubya during the tumultuous period after the '00 election in the state legislature to assure all involved that the 'Rat Supremes weren't going to hand the election to Gore. That sort of courage must be recognized and rewarded.
