She was calling someone an old crow. It is true that the second character does mean "crow" but Free very cleverly snuck in that first character. :) Well, DUH! It's not like she was calling anybody we LIKE an old crow - Peter Arnett, Tim Robbins, Michael Moore, that Garafalo know-it-all......:)

Spent close to an hour with 250 of my co-workers jammed into the interior hallways of the first floor of our two-story building. The tornado sirens sounded here in Norcross and things started rocking and rolling outside. No tornado, Thank-you God, but lots of wind, rain and ominous skyOh, gosh, Dansy - thank goodness it didn't get any worse than it did! Had to be very scary for all of you, and can just imagine everyone wanting to know where their loved ones were, too.

Mine (well, okay, my second one did, because I didn't want it to look mean) had a smiley. Yours don't. You mean it, don't you. :(

:)This reminds me of a song I can hear Helen Reddy singing, "You and Me Against The World" - has it come to this - Xie and the Skinny Guy against FreetheSausages and the bluebird? LOL

We should both keep that symbol and just practice 'chilling' when you-know-who shows up every day to dampen our spirits. Not one word did he say when I remarked how I love his smile - not one word.

True Togetherness....Unlike those journalists embedded in Iraq, I was in the company of people who (hopefully) bathe regularly! :-)
I was trying to raise .45MAN on my cell phone (thank God for electronics). He wasn't at his desk, but was blissfully slaving away somewhere in his building oblivious to the danger!

Had to be very scary for all of you, and can just imagine everyone wanting to know where their loved ones were, too.As I just said to LadyX, I tried to call .45MAN on my cell phone (along with dozens of others on their cells in the hallway). I had to leave a message on his v-mail. He was oblivious to the danger (he told me later) and working in another part of his building. I'm glad I didn't know that at the time! :-)
A lot of the moms were scared witless. The schools, however, kept the children on "lock-down" until the danger passed.
Right now, I'm watching video of all the flooding in the area on the news. Sheesh!
