BTW, no, I haven't seen the Raiders movie yet. And yes, that particular peacenik is there and every week. I just don't like to dignify their efforts with a shot of their whole ensemble. There are fewer coming than in past weeks, but they've been doing it for 25 or 30 years so I know they will never go home. We just don't want our troops to see that mess and not see us standing there supporting them.

The campaign to get rid of nuclear weapons is not new to Platte. She worked in Michigan from 1983-1995, where she lived at the time, to rid that state of the weapons. The campaign succeeded.

Yep, that's who I thought it was. I remember Ardeth, either she or this Gilbert woman was arrested more than once trying to enter the weapon storage area at Wurtsmith while I was stationed there. It is absolutely hilarious that they are basically taking credit for the closing of Wurtsmith and K.I. Sawyer. The workshop will include: the phenomenon of conflict; safety; personal experience of conflict and conflict styles; theoretical concepts; skills to work with conflict; avoiding projection; nonviolent communication; working with inner interpersonal and community conflict. Kate draws on her experience of the Northern Ireland conflict.

The cost of the workshop will be on a sliding scale from $35-100. People set their own fee, depending on their financial ability.
