>>"Loaded Gun Owner To Bear Here. Approach Me At Your Own Risk." <<

Where I live, Bear are frequent visitors. I can't take out my trash until about an hour before they come get it.

They come onto my deck after a party even though we clear it of trash.

I've had at least a dozen NBEs (near bear experiences) in the past 5 years.

I have a 12 gauge mossburg in which I load High brass sabot slugs. These will kill anything, perhaps even an elephant. They will definately blow off the limbs of a human.

The point being...I wish I had a concealed carry permit. I can handle bears, no problemo..humans are a problem. I am not a criminal. I wouldn't harm a soul who wasn't intent on harming me or my wife. If I had the permit though, I'd feel much more confident, and criminals in my state would feel much less so.

Fact remains, where concealed carry is allowed, personal crimes drop. "Hey man give me your wallet" "No, I blow your brains out, go away" end of debate.

Lefties won't ever understand that.

I understand and respect the sentiment. I'd only change it a little:

Him: "Give me your wallet."

Me: "Here you are."

Him: "Now get in this car and come with me" or "Have your wife get in this car."

Me: "No" *draw* *shoot if necessary*
Because personally, I won't protect my wallet with deadly force, but I won't hesitate to protect life or my family's.

What do you think of the relaxed rules on issuing permits allowing people to carry concealed weapons nearly everywhere?
