I saw the replay this weekend. It was very sweet...the poor girl was on the verge of tears when Mo came over. She finished with a big grin. =D
But I'm still rooting for the Mavs. :)

Agree with you on Mo Cheeks. Didn't Dr. J get slapped with a paternity suit a few years back? I think that daughter became a pro tennis player for a while.

Well, Mo Cheeks certainly is one of the classiest men to ever play pro basketball. He was extremely effective in his quiet, humble way. But ever since I saw Charles Barkley grab Larry Bird in a head lock and watched Dr. "J" pummel Bird with at least eight punches to the face while being held by Barkley, I lost my respect for Mr. Erving. What was even worse was that the 7 foot center for the Celtics, Robert Parish, sat on the bench and looked passively on as Bird got pummeled.

I'm still not a 'Jail' Blazers fan, but I do think Maurice Cheeks is a class act.

Saw this on ESPN last night. The girl was near tears. This big guy comes over and all of a sudden it's Sing Along with Mitch. She recovered and sang the rest of it with him. Very nice of him to help her out. Most people wouldn't have.

I'm sure the Celtics started it.
