Who said it was secret, other than The Guardian? I knew that Clinton was calling on Blair when he was in England. I would assume that The Guardian should have known that information.

Let's see...We're about to go to war. Bubba, who's been agitating for appeasement goes to GB to meet with Blair to counsel Balir to cool his jets. Seems to me if the meeting hadn't been secret the Beeb and the rest of the anti-war press over there would have made this banner headlines and 24/7 film at eleven, know what I mean? So why the secrecy, Tony?

So, what's the consensus? Did the meeting happen or not? If it did, why did Blair see a need to keep it secret?

I haven't heard yet, but I have no doubt that they did speak about many things .. I have read other articles of the Blair's and Clinton's getting together for dinner .. so their is no secret there

What my concerns are is that Clinton needs to mind his own business when it comes to the nationaly security of our country. He is no longer the president and he needs realize this fact

Well, whatever the case, guess I can't see why Blair would have anything to do with Bubba. Bubba would be just as quick to screw Britain as he was and is to screw the US. Blair should keep that in mind.

Blair and Clinton were friends before and share many political ideas .. they are both liberals so there is no surprise there

Maybe Blair has wised up and realized that Clinton would screw Blair over in a heart beat to get what he wants or maybe he hasn't

Time will tell.
