A woman from Okaloosa County, Fla., is the states first "probable" case of severe acute respiratory syndrom under state health definitions, according to Local 6 News.
The unidentified 60-year-old woman was determined to meet the "probable" threshold after she underwent chest X-rays.
She had just returned from China in early April as part of a group.
Other members of the group and her relatives and family are being monitored for symptoms.
Local 6 News reported that the woman's case is mild and she's resting at home while in a self-imposed quarantine.
There are 14 other cases considered "suspect cases," according to the Florida Health Department.
The World Health Organization warned against travel to the Chinese capital on Wednesday as authorities in Beijing ordered schools closed to try to halt the spread of the SARS virus.
Watch Local 6 News for the latest.

Antisense is big into SARS.
Remember the Bin Laden and fellow travelers ownership in Hybridon which was early into antisense?

Thanks. At last a study that breaks down the victims by race (about as many whites as Asians, apparently.) I'm glad to see the man in Pennsylvania has recovered. Does anybody know about the one case in this country that has required the use of an artificial respirator?
