Did Ollie just say his copter was shot down and then rescued by this same unit that rescued these POWs? I know his copter came under heavy fire, but didn't know it was shot down.

The way Ollie is talking, it sounds like we didn't just "find" them....sounds like there's a fight involved.

This is wonderful. Do you think it's a result of information from those who surrendered yesterday? Good morning everyone.

That he is. He's thrived with his current assignment and we never have to question anything he says... he'd never compromise any of our troops.

If your helo takes damage and has to put down in hostile country, you have been considered shot down.

Now that they've said that it was north of Baghdad on the way to Tikrit, it doesn't surprise me that they've found them. The military has been on its way to Tikrit over the last day or so. This may have nothing to do with our recent guest to surrender.

yeah, I knew they took fire, but I don't recall him ever saying that they had to make a landing due to the fire. I'm glad he and his crew made it out safe.

I didn't catch the name of the town, but it's south of Tikrit but north of Baghdad.

Yeah. Greg got to be the first journalist to "enter" Baghdad. Maybe Ollie will be the 1st to interview POW's. CNN sucking it's thumb.

Yes, he did say he was shot down and rescued (helo emergency repairs). Remember when he was on air and thanking the manufacturers (I think he said Bell and Boeing) for making such fine equipment, lol.
He was live on Fox shortly after his happened.

I honestly hope we get full access of media, embed video and reports from day one to the end available either at a website or movie form, a 3 or 4 DVD set would be perfect! I mean an almost day by day detailed chain of events, if it means a 10-16 hour set so be it.And a fair price of $100 or more price tag (proceeds to help families of injured military) for the set I would definately buy one.
Worst case scenario is it becomes a forgotten war, myself I want all the gory details, things like the truth of our supplies, troops running out of ammo, POW stories, rescues, EVERYTHING!
And I want this as a great piece of American history, dammit to hell if Hollywood decides not to get involved or drags its butt and gives us a whitewashed candified limpwristed left wing version on what they want us to believe.
