I'm starting to believe that the left is so stupid, they'll be around so long to write these headlines:
"Capt. James T. Kirk, a cowboy that denies authority, disabled a Romulan space ship today when Star Fleet has been working for a peaceful solution to help Romulus feed their innocent women and children".

What I'd like to see are Iraqis who decide to police themselves......surely, they should be able to have respected leaders emerge from the various communities to bring law and order.....

NY Times: "Asteroid headed for Earth...Women and children most affected".

I wouldn't be surprised, since the Russians kept their embassy staff there until the lasrt minute. There had to be a reason for that and it wasn't just to observe our tanks up close and personal.
I wonder if the Iraqi "command and cobtrol" communications went down the same time their ambassadore left town or shortly thereafter? They also left some wounded in a local hospital after the convoy incident - I wonder where those folks were when the tanks rolled in, I wonder where they arenow?
I also wonder if the French embassy kept its staff there, too?

Sky News guy!!!!! Geeeeeeeezzzzzz....
"You've exchanged regime for anarchy."
However, kudos for the last question about the deck of 55 cards... normal deck contains 52 cards, so does the 55-card deck include jokers? Big laughter in room, even from Brooks!
To: Fledermaus
This was too funny a comment by Sky News to Brig. General Brooks:
Brooks has alluded to a deck of cards, saying that they have a list of 55 most wanted; Sky News asked if, "in that list of most wanted, is the Info. Minister included, because every deck of cards has a joker."
To: nicmarlo
Question from Sky News about trading one regime for another--anarchy [there's that word again]...when are you going to start policing...question about the deck of cards [hehe, made Gen. Brooks laugh]...
Gen. Brooks: There are jokers in this deck...stability will come over time...
To: Carolina
Gotta make coffee but how can I pull myself away while Gen. Brooks is on.Get a small TV for the kitchen. That's what I do :-))

Good Morning All!
Loved that question "so does your deck of 55 cards of most wanted include the Information Minister because, after all, every deck of cards needs a joker"
LMAO!!!

Good morning Carolina! Actually, I never stopped mainlining... been up all night, AGAIN. Got booted a couple times, and had a 3-hour twilight zone experience of my own, where I was stranded in a deserted Day 22, but other than that.... :-)

I'm a joker, I'm a smoker, I'm a midnight toker LOL!

I think the libs really liked the part where Kirk got sent to Rurapente. They were hoping for a war crimes trial in front of the Federation though, rather than the nationalist Klingon show trial.

They need training.. True, but our early colonies....they learned by doing. There are people who are respected in the communities, already.....it seems they could go talk to the families, urging them to impose self-restraint on their children/young men.....for the good of the country.

...where I was stranded in a deserted Day 22, but other than that.... :-) You musta worn out your F5 button.
Here's Tom Mintier asking how the surrender helps and the question of the day? [they're getting silly, too]
Gen. Brooks: conducting Spec Ops in the north...
To: nicmarlo
I agree. Maybe any potential leaders are afraid of "the mob" like those who killed the two clerics.

Maybe any potential leaders are afraid of "the mob" like those who killed the two clerics. That's true....sheesh.....that was gruesome, so say the least.

ROFL...you are as demented as I am!
I hear that. But he turned the tables on them...I love it when he tells Spock about his suspicions and Spock is intreigued. Did he say, "possible" or something like that?
