Geraldo is in Kuwait City, and judging from the big grin on his face the last time I saw him on FNC, my hunch is he will be embedded with part of the 4th ID, reporting on the Battle of Tikrit.

Shep might have an overall point, but he's comparing apples and oranges in relation to journalists and the 6yr olds. The journalists, as far as I know, were always free to leave the country and get out of harms way. The girls never had that opportunity.

One letter that Shep read essentially said the reporters deserved to die. I suspect the person who wrote the e-mail didn't mean to express that. It's easy to pick on inaccurate expressions.
traffics picked up on the round-a-bout.

Okay, I remember that letter.
I like Shep, but he can be very dramatic at times.

I am disgusted that Ricky was thrown out.I'm finally trying to catch up on comments here. Ricky blew it with the hat, IMO.

I'm behind, but I distinctly recall this "it's thanks to clinton's military" garbage being offered up during the breathtaking Afghanistan action and the dems pathetically tried to hitch their wagon to the success.
Nobody bought it then and they certainly won't buy it now.
However, forewarned is forearmed. It wouldn't do to let them say things like that unchallenged.

You think? My daughters called me right after the show and were upset about Ricky being eliminated. Their theory is that most people didn't vote for him because they figured he would already have enough votes. Once I heard Simon describe Ricky as the nicest contestant in the competition. Wish Kimberly Caldwell had been eliminated. She is pretty but really isn't the best female singer. I think Kimberly Locke has the best voice. Oh well, most will do well now anyway from the exposure.

It gave a whole new meaning and not a very favorable one to the cognomen Baghdad Broadcasting Corporation!Hey, at least they're honest and up-front about it. That's one thing I admire about BBC News.
In terms of bias, I've found that while the BBC World Service is no Fox News Channel, it's a heck of a lot better than ABC/CBS/NBC/CNN/NPR.

Did I spout that nonsense about Fox and a gauntlet? I must have been sleep deprived, although I really wish Fox would have had one to ease my conscience about watching the CBS webcam. Nevertheless, here's to O Reilly:
