That's amazing. I'm still trying to wrap my mind aroud the idea that a
120mm round could cause such minor external damage.

Meanwhile AlJazeera's Baghdad correspondent Majed Abdel Hadi called the U.S. missile strike and Ayoub's death a "crime."""I will not be objective about this because we have been dragged into this conflict," he said, visibly upset. "We were targeted because the Americans don't want the world to see the crimes they are committing against the Iraqi people." Well, they should think about what they say. I mean, if they're going to say it no matter what we do, what benefit would there be for us to give us an incentive not to do it? They should be careful what they ask for.

"this statement from Al-Jazeera makes them absolute, unquestionable, 100% IRAQI MILITARY TARGETS. Take them out. Take them out in Baghdad, in Qatar, everywhere."
Whew...kill every AJ reporter wherever they are because they hate America?
I don't think I'd go that far...

Ooh, pretty!
Description
Armor piercing Sabot Round (inert dummy) from the 120mm main gun of the Army and Marine Corps M1A2 Abrams battle tank. Approximately 20" long x 1.5" diameter.
NOTE: Due to the weight of this item a $4.00 surcharge will be added to the shipping method that you select. Note: the real Sabot round traveled a mile and a half per second!

The webcam just played the tape of the M1 taking the shot at the hotel. Was looking right down the muzzle.

Is it just me, or is the CBS cam now at a lower angle? Maybe someone got smart and got the cameras off the roof, where SPOTTERS hang out??
To: Tree of Liberty
I wish Bush would come home, I've been so worried about his safety.

No, it's still on the roof, just pointed down more. Before, half the frame was sky.

I don't agree with the "one dumb arab remark," either. Don't mind me; I just ran out of Pamprin this morning and went into a verbose skid.

you guys hear a lot of car horn beeping, way off in the distance?

Whew...kill every AJ reporter wherever they are because they hate America? If they're going to do it on live international television, yes. They're Iraqi symps, dupes and supporters. They're broadcasting what amounts to an attempt to gain more suicide bombers to The Cause. They're a direct danger to our troops and thus are a legitimate target.
To: Tree of Liberty
Now the web cam is showing the injured reporters(?) at the hospital.
To: FireTrack
A sabot round would leave just a small hole there would be none of the "peppering" that is evident on the picture posted.

Reporters probably either holed or killed/injured from secondary shrapnel as it tore through the building.
To: FireTrack
"Holed"?
To: FireTrack
I need to get to bed. Be back later. G'nite.
