That may have been the post I saw. Too early, though, to affect Ragtime's theory (1:00am CDT, 10:00am Baghdad). It was funny, though, that a loud one hit and no one posted a thing for several minutes :-). Jaded, I guess...

Do we know how many people were in this restaurant with him? I bet the restaurant janitor is feeling resentful that he stayed late last night to sweep up for the big party.

They were listing to the radio or TV (can't tell which from the audio). At one point one of the people (not the tv or radio) was speculating as to the veracity of the morning news reports from Abu Dhabi regarding Saddam's demise.
To: Mrs.Liberty
No, we don't know how many people were there. The Bazooka Lora CBS story said it was an apartment building with four families living there. There was a restaurant either in the apt. complex or nearby.

"a restaurant that had a rec-room in the back"
It now has a wrecked-room.

I repost this for emphasis I know the rules here are no graphics on live threads, but that was GREAT. I almost wet myself.

To: Cboldt
Ok, finally got it figured out, I hope. It happened at 3pm Baghdad time which was 6am central time Monday morning. Right?
He's talcum powder, Jim.

Hope you're right. Let them know that resistance is futile.

Thanks very much for all the additional information.
Excellent point -- if they're "just" pesticides why were they where they were? :)

Had Fox on 24hrs a day since this started. Need to have online radio at work. Know of a good one that covers minute by minute of the war?
To: Tree of Liberty
I know that's what they are saying, but I just hope this is true. Did you catch Brian Williams on MSNBC last hour, saying that the attack on the first night was a tip from an iraqi municipal employee (a street sweeper, I kid you not) who was being paid by the CIA.

Well eyeryone, I'm going to have to sign-off for tonight and get to bed so I can get up in 6 hours & go to work.
Thanks everyone for "thanking me" (you didn't have to, sorry I'm modest) for working on the Jaguar Project.
I'm just in "Shock & Awe" I may have had a little piece in this.
Good night for now fellow FReepers....
