That screen shot looked like it was a green background. I would much prefer it be Georgia than Green Bay:)

Yeah, I bet Shep will show up. He said that if something big happens he'll be back.

That brings up a very real point: to a large extent, this war is a mopping-up action of the Cold War. While Iraq wasn't Communist--although the 1958-68 Qassim regime came close--it was a fascist totalitarian regime thoroughly allied with the USSR, which would surely have collapsed without the USSR's support. Ditto for Syria and Libya.

You know, I must say:
Other than that hideously ugly "Palace" they're showing on Fox, Baghdad really looks like a beautiful city. I've heard it called the "Paris on the Tigris", but I didn't believe it. Some of these shots along the river show a lovely city.

Makes you wonder what measures they'll resort to in order to win the election for the Democrats in 2004. This seriously merits a call to the FBI.

During the 2000 election, he was reporting from Florida, and when he was trying to park his car, a producer for another network was standing in the space, trying to save it for someone who just ran out to get food for the group. Shep got majorly P.O.'ed and bumped her with his car.
