Can tanks be repaired in the field if they're still salvageable?Hadn't you heard? Duct tape works wonders. Don't leave home without it.

Colonel Hunt said on O'Reilly last night that he believed that Saddam is on life support. Then, almost as an aside, he muttered, "and that's sourced". They then moved on to someone else, so that's all that was said. I saw that, too....makes me wonder where he's on life support....they must know.

Sheesh! Check out this line from a NY Times editorial describing Private Jessica Lynch:
...she saw the Army as a way to pay for college and qualify to teach in an elementary school. To many, she represents all the support staff and reserve soldiers suddenly plunged into danger by this war.
Note there is no sense of her volunteering....no, she was
plunged into war. This from the ole gray lady who, we learned last night, requested an op ed piece from Larry Eagleberger...but only if he would criticize the Bush administration. He said he wouldn't be critical...they revoked the request.

I'm emailing Joe Scarborough at MSNBC as we speak to encourage his show to jump all over the Eagleberger story. Leave it to the Slimes to try to downplay and minimize a hero's story.

Beautiful interveiwing with the parents of the Corporal who saved an Iraqi woman during the fire fight Bob Arnet reported in on.
The focus on the story was the Corporals' Christianity.

What happens next, is that the Tory defence chief will give the Tories reply, Hoon will acknoledege, perhaps give a little more detail, then the Liberals will give their opinion and vice-versa. Then depending on how many people want to have their say that will be the case.
Nice to see that even here in good ol' Folkestone, England that I as a life-long Tory voter and patriot/nationalist can be of assistance to the cause.
Oh and the Info minister has just said that we are NOT in control of Umm Qasr! Must be in bloody denial, msut be worried where he can continue his Gobbels-like Propaganda. I thinks that the Syrians might need his help, they are going to need a damm sight more than that anyway!

Sky Jeremy Thompson in Basra went with some troops and found Chemical Ali's house.

Wow, Veep guy on now (NTV)!
Guess I'm gonna have to stay up for him and the CENTCOM briefing.
His English isn't as good as Bob's... Moaning about us hitting civilians, and waving some paper, saying that we came to their warehouses and stole all their food, and left a signed document admitting it.
Says we have "shortages of coalition forces in that area," so we had to steal food (1,170 kilos) from their poor people to feed our troops!
He's nearly as good as Bob -- just needs to work on the accent...

One more question, Bob. Would you explain why the MPs pop up like jacks-in-boxes? Is this how they are recognized by the presiding officer? Oops, I guess that was 2 questions.
