From IMDB.com
Guy and Madonna's Raunchy Release Guy Ritchie is spicing up the DVD release of Swept Away - in a desperate attempt to win over film fans. The re-make movie flopped on the US box office charts after its cinematic release last year. So the British movie-maker is including a raunchy 'director's cut' on the DVD version - including naked shots of his wife Madonna and her hunky co-star Adriano Giannini. A source tells US gossip site The Scoop, says, "Madonna is romping on a beach with her naked male co-star Adriano Giannini, and in another shot she has her legs wide open while lying on the floor. These sexy scenes were not included in the original version of the movie but adding them to the DVD will, Madonna and Guy hope, grab the attention of the home movie market." The remake of Lina Wertmuller's 1974 movie Travolti Da Un Insolito Destino Nell'azzurro Mare D'Agosto swept the floor at last week's Razzie awards - scooping five gongs at the spoof ceremony dedicated to Hollywood's worst films.

..oh, what a shame. It looks quite like him.... Right. Well, you've got me sufficiently intrigued to go back and check. And I'm happy to confirm it *is* Eugene Sandow. More pics and a mini-bio can be found here. All the best, By

*L*= Laugh (depending on the message board you are on)
I'm just so delighted to see Thin Lizzy fans all over the world. God! Imagine the world media would have you believe that Samanthan Mumba is the first famous Irish black person!

I agree. I just meant that those unfortunate souls who do like her music won't find much of interest in this new album. It's all greek to me :)

Well, your post was good and it was good information. I just felt the need to add that SHE STINKS in general. LOL (I'm in the music business.)

Now you did it. I gotta hear some "Thin Lizzy" now.
I know of many musicians who still appreciate "Phil Lynott" and "Thin Lizzy". What about "Gary Moore"?

Thank you SO much; you're a dear, for posting the link !
I'm afraid that my brain is just overflowing with vast amounts of useless info and Sandow, is just one of those tid-bits. I'm not nearly old enough to have ever seen him; however, my grandparents told me about the theatre/vaudeville, when they were young , which piqued my curiousity,so I've read everything available, about that era, for decades. :-)

Ok, it's late over here so my mind is gettin' fuzzy..
What was the name of the Gary Moore No. 1 (British..I don't know if it hit No. 1 in the US) single that head-banged me my way through the rather fuzzy 1980's?
Ye know...it had an amazing guitar solo in the middle!!! (Damn! the name of the song escapes me...I can even see the video in my head....damn!!!)

Sorry I wouldn't know. I do recall an album or CD that he did with the other two members of "Cream" that was just great. But I got no help for you there. It must be late there. Jeez. what's it like 4 or 5 am?

FoxNews says it's still 'Fire" time. It's 9:18am in Iraq right now. God bless our Troops, God Bless America.

who is Madonna?
Making a point.
To: Hazzardgate
Madonna appears to be in the same league as Michael Jackson, destined for retirement. Nothing she puts out will make the top 10 and this particuliar video, if true, will probably limit her future ambitions.
But I wonder about this...suppose some hot country star...like a Toby Keith...were to make a music video about a has-been female rock star that flamed out and saw her star fade while critizing the nation...would his song rise to the top ten?

That is a great narrative for a good western ballad!
;)

The only good thing Madge did in the last decade was bring Ali G to America...

Our popular culture has sunk to a depth which is truly depressing....Why do you get depressed by it? People self-select for pop-culture. It actually makes a lot of choices easier.
