I have this gut feeling that the Kurds shouldn't be trusted.I read the report and many Al-queda were running into Iraq. Reprise of Tora-Bora bugout.

I'm glad I don't have to negotiate with these groups. We have people working inside, both w/ the Turks and the Kurds...and a two-star Gen. in N. Iraq to "unite" the many groups. Pray? (^;

Wouldn't that be a great whacky name? I could see a mother naming her son... Na'Palm. (shutting up before he gets in trouble)

Speaking of ads, we've talked with several western Canadians today who have donated $$ to a campaign that is purchasing Pro-American advertising in USA Today.
These folks are mortified at the behavior of the govt. in Ottawa. The person organizing the campaign was also said to be very pleased at the amount of support they are receiving from Ontario.

My bosses think that too. They both worship NPR. I think it is some mindset about being civilized, highly educated, people, we must therefore listen to bland, antiamerican dribble.

Good for them! The majority of Canadians are very, very decent people and I'm sure that they are very shocked at thier governments behavior. I'm sure there will be big shake-ups next Canadian election!

Sorry if this has been mentioned, FN guest this morn: we may not hear the term Fedayeen as often from our military PR guys. Fedayeen = "He who would sacrifice himself for a cause" ..gets the jihadists all excited.

I apologize in advance if I missed the post but any more news on the 3 held by Iraq as CIA spies?
To: r9etb
I have a bit of a tough time getting all worked up with concern about the Iranians feeling like they are caught in a vise. If there's nothing they're doing wrong, then there's no problem.
If they are being Axis of Evil players though, perhaps a little discomfort of finding themselves betwixt and between isn't all that bad. My opinion.

I'm afraid he Kurds are going to want ALL of Iraq and will get in the way of efforts to establish a fair interim gov't.

guerilla may be a better term that the "f" word. we need something to describe them as the thugs they are, not bring them glory.
