I checked CNN also. Not surprisingly, they didn't feel that this was worth mentioning.

Thats what the peaceniks are saying about anything our soldiers find.

A senior pentagon official has confirmed to Fox News on Sunday that coalition forces have discovered a "huge" chemical weapons factory near the Iraqi city of An Najaf, which is situated some 225 miles south of Baghdad. Coalition troops are also said to be holding the general in charge of the facility.
More details PLEASE. This whole article only has two sentences relating to the chem weapons facility. The Jeruselum Post only said Chemical factory and World Net Daily was also devoid of details. Evidence must be rubbed in French noses.

Well well well... ATTENTION LIBS: Remember that proof thing that you said GW Bush doesn't have and couldn't have? You're going to be eating crow everyday for a year. And, American troops have captured the military general in charge of the facility. There's no refuting it now.

Seriously, when I heard this I was curious and turned though some of the "other" news stations (I am one of the "priviledged FOX viewers.) MSNBC had a ticker title stating what had been discovered. CNN had nothing, as if they didn't even know about it (or were ignoring it.) Msnbc mentioned it near the top of the hour, but couched it in terms that the Bush Administration really needed a find like this to justify the war, giving the distinct impression that this find clearly should be doubted.

I hope this turns out to be a big find, ie. the smoking gun. Capturing a General there is a good sign. Of course, Saddam will say it's just a fertilizer plant.

More details PLEASE. I think we'll have to wait for an official statement for that. Remember this is FR, where the first tidbits come dripping in followed by more later. In the days of instantaneous news we have to accept a little bit at a time.

The peacenicks have already decided that any WMD we find is fake several days ago. Thank God those morons don't run wars.
Is it true that the name of the plant on it's sign was;
"I Got Your Blix Right Here?"

Hmmm .... send it to the Hammurabi and Nebuchannezzer divisions.
Of course DU will say we flew in the factory and built it for propaganda purposes.
I swear that I'm really starting to think of peace activists as the people that are going to try and start the second civil war in America.
