No one is asking you to vote for him. What I am requesting is that considering the fact that he is pursuing the absolutely right policy on this war, that you show a little taste and a little class by keeping partisanship out of it for the duration.

I am also doing you a favour by telling you this. Running around complaining about Blair after the commitment he has shown to the anti-terrorism cause makes you look shrill, obnoxious, partisan, and foolish. As I say, no better than Tom Daschle.

I will never vote Labour. But he has done the right thing in this war, and for the duration, I'll not only stand with him, I'll defend him. Particularly against cheap shots.

I am an American citizen living in Canada. I am writing to thank you for your steadfast support of the United States, after 9/11 and continuing up to the present moment. I commend you for persevering in this course of action, despite the political cost to you personally in your own country.

You are a true leader, a man of conviction and vision--a rare thing indeed in the age of polls and soundbites. The world today is immeasurably safer because of your support and determination of yesterday.

My prayers are with the British troops. From what I have read, their reputation is peerless and I am very grateful they are with us.

Thank you once again, and God be with those brave troops making the world safer.

Done. Thank you for the link. I know that most of us do not agree with Mr Blair's politics, but in events like these where we have a common vision and common values, I believe it is entirely proper to express thanks to a man that has risked everything.

History will be kind to Mr Blair, I believe.
