Losers! Using their own children to break the law. They're no better than beggars in the Third World holding out their babies or inflicting wounds and sores on their own children to evoke sympathy.

Its times like this I wish I had protesters in my area, I'd go rent the biggest baddest SUV I could find. I'd drive through the downtown area and play Squish the commies.

reports that IAC group is following the 'black bloc'. Does that mean they are going on an "anarchist shopping spree" (that's LOOTING for you folks in flyover country)
Abe Lincoln knew how to deal with these guys.

Why won't Canada fight ?
The son of former Liberal Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau is in Baghdad making a film. Canada's military involvement would present a risk to the son of Liberal Prime Minister Jean Chretien's mentor. In short, Canadians are being made to look like cowards to the world so Trudeau's son won't have his film-making career harmed.

Mob action is scary. That is "democracy" in action; the mob rules.
I had a revelation this morning: the protesters want peace, but purely by showing up and disrupting normal life, they guarantee anger and violence.
The protestors do not want peace. They want the overthrow of the Constitution and our 3 branches of government replaced with an anarchist-socialist utopia that is designed to prove that Marx had good ideas, that the communists just didn't apply them right.
They do not want peace. They want George W. Bush out of the White House (listen to their rhetoric). That this is a continuation of the bombing on Iraq President Clinton explains Iraq strike (FLASHBACK to 1998, worth reading) ) that Bill Clinton perpetrated during impeachement (without protest) and their support for Palestianian war (including suicide bombers) proves that they are not an anti-war/peace movement.
Burning an American flag, insulting passers by (and spitting on them), and blocking traffic (making the work commute longer, possibly meeting important events) all are provocations. It is not the mere protest that spurs people to violence.
The SF protests from January/February had nothing but a mob mentality to bring forth violent destruction. They vandalized (breaking windows and more) a bank, an INS office, and a Starbucks, among other places.
This is NOT a peace movement. Learn it.

A blowtorch should cut through that no problem. Or apply dry ice.
Crack those links and haul them in. They impede the travel of emergency vehicles.

Just got back from a lunch time recon. Looked like a normal sunny day in the financial district. People walking around, eating lunch, running their errands. In other words, "business as usual." Complete failure of the beknighted to shut it down. Walked to Market Street which is still shut, but many of the cross streets are open. The police are still hauling away those who refuse to disperse in MUNI busses. The poor men and women of the SFPD looked tired, but are still handling the criminally insane in a completely professional manner. Best sight was of a guy waving an Iraqi flag, it was hard to discern among all the "Palestinian" flags, but it was there--a true symbol of "peace" that. A guy came aroung asking people to sign a petition to impeach Bush, but he didn't ask me; could it have been the coherent look on my face? Didn't get up to the Federal Building so I can't report on the "pukers for peace." Back to business as usual.
