It's long been a commonplace among the hard left to label anyone they hate a "nazi". Don't be too offended when others wonder if you get your material from The Nation, Dissent, or the Daily Worker...

Much better is the smarmy neo-LBJ posturing of today's neocons. Glad to see you have recovered from your mysterious defense of Lott and have reverted to type.

Glad to see you have recovered from your mysterious defense of Lott and have reverted to type. I've always believed that Buchanan and his ilk are just well-spoken David Duke-types.
Pat's political career is finished and he's now back where he does what he does best, which is to take on liberals.
And he can't get away with his racist views on national television.

I do enjoy the way you employ the smear. "his racist views". Did you use to write speeches for Jess Jackson? You have such talent for ad hominem, it would be a shame to see it go uncompensated.

Your posts have actually been one reasion I am convinced he is dead on target in his assessment.
And you've pegged the heroes dead wrong - I count Ronald Reagan, Clarence Thomas, and Ted Olson among heroes.
As for folks like you and Buchanan, I count you among the losers who never got over themselves.

Take with Cachelot. MacDonald apparently posted here under the user ID MacDonald14 before he got the boot.

Yep--war brings great clarity. I had wondered about some of these guys, but Frum makes a heckuva case on all of them.

Don't be too offended when others wonder if you get your material from The Nation, Dissent, or the Daily Worker... Actually, the "paleos" may as well be labeled communists. You can see this on that premier "libertarian" website, "LibertyForum", where some of the more rabid animals seem to love "The World Socialist" website and where the articles seem to be a sickly mix of "Village Voice", Islamist press and Stormfront.
All an example, of course, of that great political circle where the true nazis and the true communists meet at the same point to plot the killing of political enemies.
But then, I expect you have an account over there so you know already, don't you ;).

MacDonald apparently posted here under the user ID MacDonald14 Yeah, and his stuff was as vile as I've come to expect from these creatures. Wouldn't surprise me if that moronic waste of skin tried to "reincarnate" as MacDonald88 :)).

Oh, NR, your little war with the paleos is such a bore. Look to your own insularity, your cute clubbishness, for at least some of the answer.
Out here in flyover country, you've the whiff of the unbearably prissy and effete, which is why I click on your parochial site less and less. Like so many academicians, your status is the "otherwise unemployable." Do keep in mind that your readers don't take you with the seriousness you take yourselves... I'd like to see an article on how many of you attained your pundit status through Daddy's and Mumsy's careers...

What I DID say was that there were several quotes in the article that lend credence to the notion that many paleos are "borderline Nazis". Rabid nationalism, in favor of protectionist trade policies, anti-immigration and a penchant for conjuring a Jewish conspiracy. You do the frickin' math.

Kind of hard to expect it from some of these folks. They are either in denail or angry that they've been caught.
So, they will deflect it away to non-sequitors.

I've read enough of Francis's articles to be convinced that he is an outright racist. I'm sure he would be very comfortable with the idea of an all-white country. The anti-Semitism and the racism couched in patriotic terms by these paleos is very disturbing to read. My own view is that your skin color or place of origin does not make you less of an American than someone whose ancestors came from Europe like mine did. It's all in the attitude.

I did the math. We've all heard the far left howling "nazi!" at anyone they hate on the right. I'm sure your new friends will be glad you've finally seen the light.

Lol. Chutch's hero Frum has discovered "the Great Right Wing Conspiracy."
Hillary will be impressed. Even that hag didn't manage to smear her right wing enemies with the Big Gun, the "nazi" label- she'll probably give you a big kiss for doing her dirty work. Maybe you better give up politics and stick to watching cartoons.

But then, I expect you have an account over there so you know already, don't you ;).I don't, in fact I've never been to those sites. But I'm not surprised to see your attempt at slander, an affinity for character assasination and a pronounced indifference to the truth seems to be standard for you and your friends.

Your hero Frum trashed Russell Kirk in his first book, so anyone he smears is in good company. But then, then the idea that you know anything of Kirk or his writing is riseable.

No, Frum discovered the truth about the paleos, who I find just as contemptible as I find the hag known as Hillary. Truth that seems to be hitting home.
And, for the record, I'd rather be kissed by a St. Bernard as opposed to that heifer who carpetbagged her way into a Senate seat from New York.

Ah, yes. Anyone not a paleocon does nothing except read South Park. BTW, isn't it mean the way neocons stereotype people?
