The thing that has me most concerned is that war-time Presidents are often not re-elected.Look at Churchill who saved Britain and was then booted out. Or Bush Sr? Who would've thought that, after the Gulf War, when his poll numbers were in the 90s, that he wouldn't get re-elected? People say, "Thanks a lot, but you bring back too many bad memories. See you later".
GWB is not going to be a shoe in.

I'm happy to hear about Kerry most of all. My sister is going out with his son in law. By the way, did any of you listen to Hannity today? I missed statements that Kerry had made a few years ago contradicting his stance now against the Bush possision. Can anyone fill me in on those statements? I love having some firepower when I see my sisters boyfriend!

john zogby makes these results up.
he tries to shape opinion. the only time he tells the truth is the day before an election.

The latest NBC/Wall Street Journal poll taken yesterday night shows Bush with a 62% approval rating.

Why do they link fair with poor. If I respond that someone is doing "fair" it is not negative. I'm sure it is a device to make results look worse.

I hope you sleep better tonight! Thanks! I haven't thought about Gore in months - so I thought it very rude of him to intrude in my dreams in the middle of the night!

If the election were held tomorrow, W would crush any one of those losers.

What happened to the poll where ANY Un-named Democrat beats Bush 45-43??
To: dalebert
Just try to imagine what Hitlery would do if elected! I cannot imagine a worse thing for the Republic! Such a nightmare would be horrible, ven worse than Gore!

All this tells me is that (roughly) 1 in 4 people will choose anyone but Dubya.
I don't think it's as much a reflection of the ccandidates, Or Gore so much. Even the most popular candidates are only on top by a 13% margin over the most reviled.
That doesn't say much about their strength.
