I can't help thinking that Drudge thinks its too threatening, like when people find FR they stop going to Drudge.

That may be so, but I the original reason given by Drudge was that this site sometimes becomes a free for all (foul language, racist comments, etc.) and he didn't want that to reflect on him. That has since been cleaned up a lot by Jim Rob.

I think also that he got his dander up one too many times when the usual spate of Drudge bashers took off after him. The usual suspects are there with negative comments each and every time a Drudge headline is posted.

He doesn't need us, so I really don't blame him.
