Cross your fingers. Dark of the moon tomorrow night. And on the feast of a great saint, too. HG, do you think our Blessed St. Pat would approve?

My attitude on this is that after it's over,
the UN has NO ROLE to play, NO BILLION DOLLAR
account to manage, NO SAY in how things are done.
FRANCE can defend herself at the Hague on charges
of distributing WMD, maybe GERMANY too.

I worry that we'll end up spending a long time looking for Saddam, or at least Saddam's body, just like we have Osama. (Didn't it take us a while to find Hitler's body?) But he'll still be out of power no matter what.

Well, it should be part of the Strategery!! (Just couldn't resist going to check my lunar chart, because I was pretty certain I'd seen a half moon just a couple of days ago)

We hope tomorrow that the UN will do its job. If not, we will all have to step back and work out how to make the UN work more effectively.Removing France from the Security Council would be the only hope of accomplishing that. Without that, you can count on there being no Security Council.
