Thanks for the clarification. The use of a logical fallacy is where I am coming from:
The Fallacy of Composition is to conclude that a property shared by a number of individual items, is also shared by a collection of those items; or that a property of the parts of an object, must also be a property of the whole thing. Examples:
"The bicycle is made entirely of low mass components, and is therefore very lightweight."
"A car uses less petrochemicals and causes less pollution than a bus. Therefore cars are less environmentally damaging than buses."

I did read this morning that they have not been able to identify this SARS; it is a real mystery. Not much new news about it today though.
Well, sort of. They made a statement about a flu strain being "present" among some of the ill. But then again, there were several rather contradictory statements both before and after.

Yes. The latest is that there may also be a rash and diarrhea, apart from the respiratory thing.
