The greatest thing that I find in it that's funny is that usually when somebody says something about this song, they open their blowhole and something flies out.

That song is not a song in support of the soldier: it's about how sad the big ugly mean government was to ruin this poor little girl's life by sending her man off to war when all she wanted to do was wear a bow in her hair and play the piccolo. What's more, they turned her into a lesbian, to boot.

Vichy Chicks is a good moniker for them. Vichey was the NAZI branch of the FRENCH GOVERNMENT that the USA, and Allies had to battle with in WWII.

Ohmygosh, too funny! Love all the blowhole remarks, too. Never thought Maines fit with Martie & Emily. Loved their music, but I will never again buy it/listen to it. I am going to become familiar with Toby Keith. Maines has reduced herself to a no-talent liberal whore with a guitar; the guitar is only to hide her fat butt (take a look at the other two cuties). She is absolutely disgusting and her apology is only aimed at curbing record sales losses. Also, there is one more reference to blowhole that Miss Maines may have to acquaint herself with in order to earn a living!
