I hear ya!!! That's why when these Code Pink ladies go over and say they have 'talked' with Iraqi women who do not want us to go in and help them, I chuckle.....as if Saddam doesn't have his minnions out canvassing the country searching for any dissenters and holding guns to people's heads to talk the party line.....

The political left in this country has a serious problem with recognizing evil and doing something about it. They are the ones who left a rapist in the White House. Given their way, they would wait to attack Iraq until a half a million people in NY were killed with chemical weapons and a dirty bomb. They would then, of course, question how much it would cost to go after them. After all, we have to provide universal health care and dump more billions down the rathole that is public education.

If I were with the Susan G. Komen Foundation I would be totally upset with the pink people for using the color pink. The Komen Foundation has worked for years to have people associate the color pink with breast cancer research. It has now been hijacked by the pink people to demonstrate.

No, no, they are going to demand to know why we didn't do something sooner to avert this atrocity. It would all be Bush's fault that NY was bombed a second time on his watch.

Excellent!! My first question was how many signatories, but by looking at the website, it appears that there are stories on a dozen or so names. I do hope that they get a petition or something going, to give this powerful letter and it's meaning as much effect as possible!! Unfortunately, a lot of Iraqi expatriots still have relatives in their home country. They are compelled to remain anonymous by a very real threat of reprisals.

Has anyone noticed there are no Iraqi's at these leftists protests that proclaim to speak for the Iraqi people?

I emailed this letter to Medea, two names running the Starhawk site and the contact listed at the Code Pink site.
The subject line read: To help your work on behalf of women...

My first question too........where has this been?? Well if the media wants to prove they do report both sides of the story, we should hear about it soon
If not, then they are exactly what they are accused of .. A Left Leaning Party Hack towing the Party Line

The political left in this country has a serious problem with recognizing evil and doing something about it. Right you are. The left can't recognize 'peace' either, given their panchant for destroying store fronts and the like while they are engaging in 'peaceful' demonstrations.

After watching that silly Medea Benjamin on Hannity&Colms last night; I wish a couple of these ladies could take her in hand and have a 'chat' with her!
She seemed to be a bit too much for even Alan Colmes(sp?) to take. No matter how much talking and scolding S.Hannity tried to do to convince her; she just kept on shaking her head, and spouting the same ol-same-ol propaganda!
That woman thinks she knows more than anyone else, and just won't listen to what others say in opposition. I don't think she wants to know what the 'other' side has to say! It just might challenge her too much. Even if these ladies tried to tell her something; she'd just shake her head, and tell them that it's nonsense, or lies against their fearless leader!

I have come to the conclusion the antiwars have only one motivation when it comes to their position ... it is SELFISHNESS. They only care about themselves and what they want and what they get and what they think and what their conditions are. They do not care that at this very moment somewhere in Iraq people are being tortured, executed, raped and starved. If they really cared about 'the people' they would be marching and demanding Saddam Hussein be immediately removed from office ... through either resignation and exile or through the uprising of the people OR by military action to remove him. The antiwars say they are worried about the people, NO THEY ARE NOT! If they were they would be in the streets until Saddam was removed. This is about THEM (the antiwars, movie stars, singers, actors, celebrities) NOT the people of IRAQ. Selfish, selfish, selfish. Shame on the antiwars.
