I suppose I could have nominated 'Nephew of an El Alamein Vet' as my screen name, but I would be uncomfortable with trading in reflected glory, in that way.

I chose my name because I'm proud of my dad's service, and I revere it. I don't think "glory" was on his mind on Iwo Jima, and it wasn't on mine when I chose my screen name - but this certainly shows where you dwell.

I know you won't reply, so let me leave you with that thought.
