We have to remember too that PMSNBC is NOT good at program formatting IMHO so I am not surprised they have a lousy set, a microphone, having him standing, and the teleprompter problem. I think they're doing it on the cheap until they see which way the wind is blowing. If he's a hit, they'll upgrade the set, if not then nothing really lost.

Me too, but the Sedition Act??? Does he not know that it was repealed and is no longer in the US Code? Are you talking about the Sedition Act of 1798 or the US Sedition Act of 1918?
-PJ
To: swheats
Yeah, he did. That's why he won't last. Rush would go toe to toe with someone who didn't agree with him. Savage seems to want only yes men.
To: Non-Sequitur
Unless the caller went into profanity or objectional language.

Are you talking about the Sedition Act of 1798 or the US Sedition Act of 1918? The Sedition Act of 1918 was repealed in 1921. It looks like that was the one he was quoting from.

Producer is cutting off the callers too quick...a real challenge and he liberalled outThe caller probably lied to the screener. Who knows what he said after he was cut off, remember all the opposition out there to ruin him.

Is it me or does this thing really stink...
To: Non-Sequitur
I guess he doesn't know, because he's been talking about it for weeks now.

Unless the caller went into profanity or objectional language. It didn't sound like the caller was saying anything improper when he was cut off.
To: Non-Sequitur
I guess there isn't the kind of 7-second delay in TV when you see Savage real-time. The caller was about to tear into Savage's "Turd World Nation" talk.
-PJ
To: Non-Sequitur
You could be right. Not sure if I would want to waste my 60 minutes with a caller though, could be a disrupter for that purpose.

It sounded like the caller tried to ask a different question than the one that was approved by the screener.

He's going to touch on affirmative action and the "white male"...oh boy, this should generate lots of nasty emails to MSNBC.

Savage did say that they had a "set" call.

I agree with him showing the footage of the people Saddam has gassed. Those Anti
BushWar demonstrators need to be reminded of what they are supporting.
On the topic of Pres. Bush not being passionate enough on the need to go to war, I don't agree with him. The president of the United States needs to be on a higher level than a Talk Show host.
I wish him well on his show.
