Did anyone catch her continuous lies on Hannity & C tonight?
Hannity called her a liar when she tried to justify her opposition to kicking the Taliban out of power. Benjamin outrageously claimed that the U.S. military killed thousands upon thousands of innocent Afghan civilians and Hannity went after her for the monsterous lie and slander of our military.
At the beginning of her interview, Benjamin claimed that the protestors were trying to surround the White House to "impart a spirit of love to President Bush" (my paraphrase, but it's pretty close). Instead, the rally that I saw was filled with rage and hatred towards Bush as reflected by various obscenities directed towards Bush in signs and graffiti.
Obviously, Benjamin is NOT some misguided and sincere pacifist. The Jagger/Richards lyrics below are an accurate description of Benjamin:
"She was practiced at the art of deception
Well I could tell by her blood-stained hands"
Thus, she perfectly matches the sign we had referencing her blood-stained hands.

Basically, she was against the attack on Afghanistan and she blames the U.S. for any and all attacks on us.
Kudos to you for your incredible bravery in standing up to these violent hate-mongers! (Did you get your purse back, BTW?) How disgusting that these wackos couldn't reign in their vile behavior a bit around your young daughter. Ah, but that would be out of character for leftists, as we all know.
We put down the signs. When we picked them up a few minutes later, I had gotten my letters (“H” and “I”) mixed up. For a brief moment, we were now “HUMAN SIHELDS” defending the White House against the Pinkos (or should I say “Pinoks”?).
Last Saturday night, our local CBS affiliate in Hartford, CT - Channel 3, WFSB - showed some coverage of the Code Pink rally in Washington DC at the beginning of the 11PM newscast. As they ended their coverage of everything PINK and hateful, on my television screen I see all of YOU - the DC Chapter FReepers - holding up your 'HUMAN SHIELDS' signs! And it was exactly at the point where you were scrambling to fix the H and the I!
This was the voiceover during that part of the video: "About 25 protesters were arrested for crossing a police line near the White House." Apparently Channel 3 thought you all were part of the Code Pink peacenik rally! The coverage gave the impression that you - the protesters holding the HUMAN SHIELDS signs - were the ones who were arrested! LOL
It took me awhile, but I finally read every post and looked at every photo on this thread. DC FReepers: You continually amaze me... you all really outdid yourselves on this one! BRAVO to all of you - including CAL, tgslTakoma's daughter, Nofel and his sons. It took a heck of a lot of courage for so few of you to stand up to such a tidal wave of hate (not to mention violence!). Stay safe out there for the next rally...
