They have been doing things. They told N. Korea to use their jet fighters to provoke the situation. It's a page right out of China's book. We know what happened to our surveillamce plane when a poor pilot messed up.
They also did this to Taiwanese planes. The Chinese would fly provocatively and lock on to Taiwanese aircraft.
Rest assured, China is doing a lot.
All of this peace activist BS from Beijing (from the people who want to invade or shoot 400 missiles at Taiwan) is more along the lines of revenge than anything.
They are being contrary because the US is taking action against China on several fronts.
Not to mention China thinks they will be next on the list.
