There has been a lot of talk in the last few days that Osama could be found...I would hate for that to be played up unless he had already been found...(or they may anounce Osama has been dead a while)

I agree. Sort of like the rumor that Krinton blew up during his deposition. I never knew where the F--- that rumor came from. I was physically exhausted after watching that - had to go lie down.

If only it were true. Unfortunately, Osama Bin Laden would kill himself, before he would be taken alive. I will gladly admit that I am wrong, it that turns out to be the case.

Spreading rumors like this on the radio only hurts the President's efforts to prosecute the war on terror.

That's why I emphasized RUMOR; as did Boortz & Dupree. DC rumors tend to be at least half or otherwise partial truths. There could be something else in play. Otherwise, (and this IS a logical question) why would Bush clear the decks today?

In eitehr event, there's a lot of time between now and 8P. As I mentioned, I remain curmudgeonly skeptical, but otherwise hopeful.

It would seem that Wall Street would be rallying on such a rumor, but the market is dead in the water at this time.

I still believe he's dead, but I would guess that if/when he's found alive, rather than put up with a long drawn out trial and retaliatory terrorist attacks, UBL would be quietly "eliminated" and the news of his death loudly proclaimed.
