Golf is demanding enough without having to listen to this kind of crap while you do it.
To: awgie2
I have mixed feelings about "educating" him. He gets himself all worked up on the way to the golf course talking about Republicans ruining the world...it takes him 5 or 6 holes to get calmed down and hit the ball straight. I win every time!

He's a moron. Delete the email and forget it.
And then block mail from that address.....he'll get the picture then.

I have a similar friend. When he begins to speak on politics, I close my ears or listen to someone else. He would go out of his way to help my family and me if they were in need, but he is a close-minded idiot when it comes to politics and the real world.
He's a public school teacher.

Sounds to me like he's about to have a nervous breakdown. He needs to get his mind off things. Buy him a hooker...

He's too far gone. Either ask him not to talk politics or ditch him.

I win every time!First, see #19, then (and this is important) you need to "press" for both the front nine, back nine and overall score. You can triple your earnings. I know this sounds cold, but you can use these earnings to pay his medical bills.
No thank you necessary, but you're welcome.

Tell your friend to get a spelling tutor. And tell him that he isn't really inerested in peace unless he volunteers for Saddam's Glorious Human Shield Brigade.

I have to concur with the get a new friend crowd.
This person is completely irrational.
There isnt a single logic fact in his entire tirade.
There is no way to argue with him.
The problem with people like him is they dont care about facts. Facst are irrelevant to their argument so there isnt any way to come up with a list of evidence and have him say "Oh I was wrong..sorry."
Your friend obviously hates Bush. Nothing is going to change that. I would argue that any person who thinks Gore would be better than Bush right now is beyond any sense of redemption.

I agree, the last three words say it all. This idiot sounds like my sister-in-law; loves BJ, gets all her news from Katie Couric, hates Bush and thinks Barbra Streisand is brilliant (unfortunately, I can't get a new sister-in-law).

"I am guessing that he is what I call a "Castanza", as in george Castanza. The kind of guy that you have known for years, probably since childhood. You have known him for so long, you forgive him for being a total idiot."
You hit the nail on the head. When we're together I feel like I'm part of a Seinfeld episode.

Then report back.

Your friend's hysteria has nothing to do with President Bush. It is the result of a mental illness. I believe it is called paranoid sociopath.
